hey
I'm the fag who bought the RAM
Not using a ssd today is awful
How is using one of those safety razors? I might get one for me and my brother, seems economical.
chink polarized things exist
buy them and test
pretty sure sights like that are built for airshit, but if it works it works!
if you don't already have one you have no business saying it or getting one
fuckin uhhhh
Coup
shitty app, great game
dried mangoes are not a meme
if those are genuine
frozen philipines ones are world class, dried ones retain a fair amount of flavor
yeah, because that plastic has a metal wire in it that keeps the cable coiled
I don't know about others but I like airpods/airpod clones for gym, since they don't block surrounding noises and thus let my ears breathe a bit
it can get really uncomfortable, but it might just be my defective ear canals
They need nothing at all AFAIK, but they're not compiled for ARM. You'd have to emulate or get a GPD.
Got a op5, dash charging beats qi charging, which is painfully slow
Wake up to a dead phone? Plug it in, go for a shower, you now have enough to make it to work and probably even lunch, depending on use
I think the difference between dash and other fast charging solutions were marginal, but the utility is much greater than the bugman appeal of not having to plug a cable that you don't even have to orient correctly
(you)
any of you know of the mythical yang
he stuffed a 1200 dollar goretex jacket in the toilet
just getting vibes off of him
drank a protein shake and did 10 kg curls, then joined a /fit/ discord
may have shit on his lawn
can't remember exactly everything, but it's probably true
wikipedia definitely has articles, I belive there's transparent info to be had about the swedish transit system
just a lead, don't take my word for it
if the info isn't out there you can absolutely request that information
microtransaction ban is authoritarian but could be argued to be analogous to gambling laws
although most gambling laws are probably less restrictive than that, which is honestly not great
if your goal is to protect idiots from themselves
are modern games really sufficently parallelized to see benefit from this many cores? what about desktop performance? last time I saw real benefit for desktop/development use was when I switched to SSDs. It's always nice to have files decompress faster, and intense encoding and the like go faster (but sometimes these things only run on one processor), but it doesn't compare to the bang-for-buck I got from going from HDD to SSD...
@Kimichiboi skinfold calipers, used properly, are the best thing short of using immersion measurement, which is unreasonable for non-athletes. I got mine from china, they're copies but work fine, I've verified using other methods. Electric measurements are *at best* a bit inaccurate, at worst completely misleading. Tape measurement is acceptable and works for most.
is there any guide to not getting chinked for SD cards? I know how to tell if they're bad using software, but what brands/sellers should I avoid/prefer?
a fug
where can I buy chinese rats
ones that can fit through my neighbours post slot
won't fit, too fat
@Millwood don't be discouraged, because it will become a slog, but it picks up real quick when once you get past that section
clown world meme
so the xiaomi watch is just going to be a big, square-faced mi band, yeah?
@Millwood ultrasonic cleaner?
I don't doubt there is CIA involvement, why wouldn't there be
that doesn't make the protests invalid all of a sudden
I hope people can avoid falling into the trap of making it a US vs China thing.
do you use them for glasses?
the best jokes are the ones you explain afterwards
>a /g/ discord doesn't know what a subdomain is called
<:brainlet:589104479887032330>
Why not just get a fitness band or watch, you get more function out of those
I'm in circles that wear old casios for their looks but honestly it looks dorky and is a dated technology, there's no reason to wear something that drifts anymore if your goal is to tell the time
imagine trying to put others down for allowing themselves to be spied on in a platform well known for spying on its users
u s e l e s s
calipers or a measuring tape
really, no
if you already know your bodyfat you can measure how hydrated you are in combination with how conductive your skin is
I mean you throw away your money and let your dad set goals for his health that he'll be measuring his progress towards inaccurately
don't say nobody warned you
just got the mpow m5. case whines when charging, I'm a little concerned about the quality of the hinge. they sound warm and have a bit of kick, not something I expected from such small things. mids and high are not clear and sparkling, that is for sure. They still sound very fun to me.
"I don't want to fuck your daughter"
is anyone surprised?
okay, we believe you ๐คฃ
"thousands" doesn't indicate it's disneys fault
when it's every customer or a large percentage, then it's disneys fault
if you knowingly use a password available in a dump file, you deserve to be "hacked"
you wouldn't use a combination lock and set it to "1111"
then blame the lockmaker
might be viable since they're a gigantic corporation, but they're also only concerned about profits
they can cut the cost of hiring someone who can buy those by just not doing it
honestly though, it's a bit like saying "I didn't know I had to lock my bike"
I got some cheap one in the phillipines, there's probably not a huge difference between them. If it's relevant, get a safety razor instead, they're wonderfully sharp with some fresh blades.
I'm not a fan of it but I'm sure it'll last better than other finishes
Does Lightning support the same amperage as USB-C can? not sure if it's part of the spec, but those connectors on the Lightning cables are small.
did you have to pay import on that?
so you can store data on casette tapes, duh
25 % is borderline overweight, and considering how sedentary most of you are, it's not okay
the fuck am I saying
BMI, not bf%
25 % bf is the border too?
funny, that.
maybe by design?
just speculation
there is absolutely no harm in being in the "athletic" zones or dead center of normal BMI, assuming you have a good FFMI.
Well, I'm thinking it's a bit like with kelvin v celcius
it's an index, so you could have it be negative, right? theoretically
You could just shift the scale for BMI.
I guess it's unneccessary to adjust.
celcius is based around the idea that we like round numbers for the two (for average humans) most important numbers - the boiling point of water, and the freezing point of water.
The scale for BMI could be argued to be improved if the zero point was the center of what is considered "healthy". It could even be divided by some factor so that a value above 1 indicates overweight, though that requires more consideration.
But I don't care and neither should you. Just an idea about a measure that isn't that useful to begin with.
Is it just the dash/minus situation that confuses people about negative numbers?
And I think a lot of medical professionals like the fact that BMI is well studied, but the studies will also tell you it's not a great measure for individuals.
I really appreciate the perspectives!
it's so funny, that, that the best way of figuring out if someone is healthy or not is to ask them to grade how healthy they feel from 0-10
"best", but yeah
The idea being that if someone is ill, they can usually tell a lot better than a doctor asking questions
It's not meant to diagnose, but it's a strong predictor for getting a diagnosis of ill health.
