@Myth Well, thing is, I sent a pretty long email to blonde about something they discussed nearly a month ago. About someone being convicted on here-say as evidence. Didn't hear anything back, and didn't want to go too far foward with pushing it. Cause of the concern of my name getting out in the "public eye".

The concern isn't for doxing. It's that the email is connected to my actual name. And tge concern that "that name" would be used.

I was convicted of child molestation.

Started as rape. Then dropped to sodomy. Then dropped to molestation.

I sat in that seat for 7 years, thank you.

It happens when a woman points her finger at you, says he did it, and you live in missouri, where woman don't lie.

And a woman can't be tried for perjury if pertaining to a sex crime.

A woman. Mother of the kid.

No jury. Bench trial.

Judge decided if I was guilty. After pushing the case through all three iterations of charges.

I could get a jury trial, and I was offered to see the jury beforehand. All old people, mostly women.

And taking it to trial meant I would be risking 45 years in prison if guilty.

Well I was 19 and didn't know law stuff.

The evidence against me was hearsay.

Story started as that I attempted to rape a nine year old girl. Which I had proof by my employer that I was at work at the time it supposedly took place. And lie detector test on both me and the kid showed it didn't happen. So it became a sodomy charge on a different day. But I didn't work that day and couldn't disprove that I couldn't have done it. But no lie detector test for me or the kid for that one. And the kid refused to go on stand. Prosecutor claimed it was cause she was too traumatized to talk about it.

They are if they provide evidence against you.

It amounted to the mother going on the stand claiming that her daughter told her I did this in private, but wouldn't give a statement to the police cause she was scared of them.

So the mom reported me and made the claim on her own. And the judge ran with it.

Woman is my cousins ex wife.

I mean that the only evidence against me was what the mother claimed, with no supporting evidence from the girl.

No babysitting. I live about 60 miles from them. Roughly.

Only interactions was in seeing them at my grandmothers during christmas.

That's just it. I don't know why.

But oddly enough, my cousin, the ex husband, went to prison for three years for also touching his daughter. At the mothers word.

I don't know if there was actual evidence against him, but my granma kept me pretty well up to date on what all was happening with him.

Claimed that he exposed himself and told her he was going to "put it in her".

With me the original claim was that I had attempted to stick my dick in her.

Then became "oh she was confused. He used his fingers."

Cause an adult penis would surely leave some kind of evidence on a nind year old's vagina. But rape test came back negative. No biological material, no compacting, no tearing or bruising, no stretching.

Presuming fingers wouldn't I guess.

Yeah. Took a plea deal for a lesser crime with a lesser sentence. Cause jury trial for sodomy of a child is up to 45 years in prison.

Molestation is 7 years.

I was 19. I had barely any money at all.

And yeah. Public defender.

I'm more at peace with it these days. Still angry from time to time. But, oh well, I guess.

In 12 fights in prison. Often in the hole.

The other option was chancing 45 years in front of a jury that thinks guilty as soon as the word molestation is said.

With the defendant being a grisly looking unkempt guy in an orange jump suit.

Cause not allowed to have or use a razor. So no shaving. Even if you've got to "look your best".

True, but I'd still be risking 45 yeats.

I can't know how the people going in would think things through.

Raping a child is always worse though.

It was the same judge who okayed the trial to continue after disproving the original claim.

When I got the 7 year setence. He made sure to tell me that he wished he could sentence me to a more strict punishment.

I tried fir a change of venue, but it was determined that there wasn't a conflict of interest.

I really doubt it.

But I wouldn't be surprised if it comes to that.

Unless if it's some speaker claiming it cause that's what they do.

If it is, then it's just a guarantee to impeach the next democratic president caise he's a dem.

Maybe I'm just ignorant to the finer details of politics, but I don't see how it got past the "we have a witness but you're not allowed to ask questions" portion.

Call in show, maybe. Still kinda on the fence about putting it out there. Just don't want people showing up on my doorstep or where I work.

Alright, so convicted on hearsay maybe not. But alleged, charged, tried, and sat in jail for 13 months over hearsay has kinda soured me a bit.

And I know court records are public. My concern is my name being used.

No, 13 months in jail, 5 years 11 months in prison.
