They've got you on your own words at that point.
If you really were innocent, it sounds like you were tricked into taking a "deal"
because, that's not beyond a reasonable doubt...
Story started as that I attempted to rape a nine year old girl. Which I had proof by my employer that I was at work at the time it supposedly took place. And lie detector test on both me and the kid showed it didn't happen. So it became a sodomy charge on a different day. But I didn't work that day and couldn't disprove that I couldn't have done it. But no lie detector test for me or the kid for that one. And the kid refused to go on stand. Prosecutor claimed it was cause she was too traumatized to talk about it.
lie detecter tests arent admissible in court...
They are if they provide evidence against you.

i come from a family of lawyers, and im no stranger to the courts from all my fighting.
It amounted to the mother going on the stand claiming that her daughter told her I did this in private, but wouldn't give a statement to the police cause she was scared of them.
So the mom reported me and made the claim on her own. And the judge ran with it.

I mean that the only evidence against me was what the mother claimed, with no supporting evidence from the girl.

No babysitting. I live about 60 miles from them. Roughly.
so what was her motivation to do this?
Only interactions was in seeing them at my grandmothers during christmas.
