Most important thing to note is the lack of attempts to turn hard or doing fancy tricks that bleed your speed

I miss a pass on a Gladiator and instead of trying to glue myself on his tail I just extend away and set myself up for another pass

try test flight

there's at least one ground target

aim slightly above your target to compensate for shell drop

further away, higher you aim

even when diving

Strafing combat cars or AA

also, some weapons (like the 30mm mk103 on the duck) will kick and pull your aim down further

most importantly

don't get greedy

because that *will* cause you to run into the ground

if you're hitting a convoy then line yourself up so you can hit multiple targets - even if you miss the intended target you might at least wind up hitting something else

Buffalo is pretty nimble

P-36 is too

But the i-15 will most likely bleed your energy in a sustained turnfight

Both planes are (probably) heavier, so always try to keep a speed and altitude advantage

if you can stay on their tail, then do so - but if you can't, then break off and go into a shallow dive to get your E back

the earlier i-15s have fixed landing gear and are slower

the later ones like the i-153 are much nastier

doubly so for dive bombers

if you do dive and cut engine throttle + pop dive brakes then they're most likely going to overshoot you

Pretty sure the US SBD dive bombers have twin .30s in the rear though

so that should take care of the earlier fighters reasonably well

At this point, I could now see their army walking into the province. So I immediately asked for and received a peace treaty.
AKA, I just fought a 1 turn war over a city and there was fuck all the AI could do about it

played a game of Crusader Kings 2 last night, and didn't stop until it became too micro management heavy. Had eradicated all muslims from the map, as tengri mongol horsemasters, made half of europe pay tribute, and put a cousin on the throne of the Chinese empire. Suddenly, everything collapsed.

What caused this collapse? I had such high tolerance levels, that I tried raising female rights, and switching the inheritance to agnatic-cognatic. This resulted in a highly prestigious female being nominated as the leader, and upon her ascension to khatun (which is apparently the title of a female khan) the empire collapsed into tiny fractions, and left the part I was in charge of as agnatic inheritance only, with female rights set back to the lowest point.
