109 is agile-but-fragile
109F onwards are pretty much all centreline armament which makes aiming far less complicated
do the british get the shit stick with plane ammo too?
.303s are a bit naff
but that changes quick enough
Hispano 20mms are good
Think they first show up on the Spit V
Spits in generally are forgiving planes
Earlier ones can tear wings at higher speeds though
If you're doing herp-de-derp turnfighting and not wanting to learn much dogfighting craft, then Japan and Britain are where it's at
You'll just pick up bad habits that will be hard to shake if you want to try other nations
Lemmesee if I've got..
*rummage*
This is just raw footage I lifted from an EC match
May or may not be of interest
Most important thing to note is the lack of attempts to turn hard or doing fancy tricks that bleed your speed
I miss a pass on a Gladiator and instead of trying to glue myself on his tail I just extend away and set myself up for another pass
@Reaps how do I git gud at strafing ground targets?
point crosshair at them.
I do, but they never seem to hit 😐
how do you mean?
what are you strafing?
bullets bounce off tanks bruh
also, on a more serious note
try test flight
there's at least one ground target
aim slightly above your target to compensate for shell drop
further away, higher you aim
even when diving
Strafing combat cars or AA
also, some weapons (like the 30mm mk103 on the duck) will kick and pull your aim down further
most importantly
don't get greedy
because that *will* cause you to run into the ground
if you're hitting a convoy then line yourself up so you can hit multiple targets - even if you miss the intended target you might at least wind up hitting something else
How do I get away from the HAXX russian biplane ?
(((I-15)))
what are you flying?
japs can turn with it, generally speaking
