Now that's just sad

2018-11-16 16:29:44 UTC

Oof

2018-11-16 16:35:47 UTC

Is this the lead up to an EU army? Holy shit, things move fast when they're voting on shit they want

2018-11-16 16:57:15 UTC

@Fitzydog the British military is technically loyal to the monarch only, so if Liz can grow a pair....

2018-11-16 16:59:04 UTC

DISSOLVE PARLIAMENT AND REVIVE THE EMPIRE

2018-11-16 16:59:18 UTC

@galesteppes she might retire soon. Question is will she pass it to her son, or her 1st born grandson. Her son will do more of the same.

2018-11-16 18:40:19 UTC

Then no deal brexit.

2018-11-16 18:40:38 UTC

No deal brexit > eus bitch brexit

2018-11-16 19:16:19 UTC

I would like someone to explain how fucked in the head this judge had to be to think there is anything regarding actual law even going on here.

2018-11-16 19:16:55 UTC

Like, the White House Press Briefing is just a thing they do, it's not enshrined anywhere in law that it must be done

2018-11-16 19:17:06 UTC

Or who must be allowed to attend.

2018-11-16 19:17:19 UTC

I expect this to be fully overturned by a much more qualified judge.

Let them dig <:covfefe:440543908846632980> <:pepe_smug:378719408341909506>

2018-11-16 19:22:37 UTC

what's happening with julian assange btw

2018-11-16 19:22:46 UTC

and why hasn't trump pardoned him yet

2018-11-16 19:24:41 UTC

@meratrix it was a temperary injuction based on quasi 5th admendment. Basically its the way the judge can recuse himself without actual recusal. As it stands for like 12 days until a higher judge rules

2018-11-16 19:24:59 UTC

But he flat out said 1st amendment doesnt apply

2018-11-16 19:25:19 UTC

So anyone reporting as if it's in favor of CNN is full of shit.

2018-11-16 19:25:21 UTC

good to know

2018-11-16 19:27:19 UTC

Tbh smartest thing the judge could do as he was appointed by trump. If he fully ruled for trump, media would have pushed the dems to get rid of him, and said trump is tyrannically owning the judiciary. If he rulled fully for the media then they would report that people are abandoning trump. This is middle ground ruling to allow a higher court to rule on the basis acosta wasnt warned his actions would have him ban. So trump is using it to make a tos

2018-11-16 19:28:20 UTC

Ok, that's actually pretty good. Also, wasn't he warned multiple times about his behavior?

2018-11-16 19:28:56 UTC

Basically codifying reagens rules that they have to sign to get a pass.

Not that im aware of before this event

2018-11-16 19:29:17 UTC

Not officially. Beyond what any reporter tends to

2018-11-16 19:30:36 UTC

Inb4 declaration of war on the saudis

2018-11-17 00:08:13 UTC

Yep go to war over a saudi citizen killed by saudis on saudi land.

2018-11-17 00:14:15 UTC

This is why it's stupid for America to get involved in international politics

2018-11-17 00:15:52 UTC

Its not even international politics. The only reason it had anything in American Media was to be a way to "Get Trump". It continued the "Trump hates Media" narrative if he didn't react, and was the perfect timing before the mid terms. Notice, mid terms over media isn't saying shit on it. That and Acosta was a better avenue.

2018-11-17 00:16:35 UTC

Trump handled it the best. "We will wait for what investigators say," and just road it out until it died.

2018-11-17 00:18:08 UTC

Yeah, but then that thing about him trying to bribe the Turkish to stay quiet was leaked

2018-11-17 00:32:06 UTC

"When the White House first floated the idea of extraditing Gulen, career officials at top federal agencies thought it was a joke but became "furious" when they learned it was a serious request, according to NBC News."

"This is the Trump administration seeking to barter away a US resident who has lived here legally for years," Price told INSIDER.

Diplomatic, immigration, and law-enforcement officials during the Obama administration determined that Turkey's case for Gulen's extradition did not meet the required threshold.

2018-11-17 00:33:06 UTC

So trump wasn't the only one to think about the extradition. And if we have an extradition policy with Turkey. The case could be made. I just find it funny all of this is cited from ex-Obama personell and via other news outlets.

2018-11-17 00:38:43 UTC

Green Card Holders arn't citizens, so that article is already disingenuous. They can be extradited to their country of origin, hell even have their green card revoked and deported for just being arrested, not even convicted.

"When a lawful permanent resident (green card holder) is arrested by law enforcement, the consequences may include revocation of the immigrant visa and deportation, even without a criminal conviction." - https://www.alllaw.com/articles/nolo/us-immigration/what-happens-when-green-card-holder-arrested.html

2018-11-17 00:52:39 UTC

Its almost as silly as the "US needs to do X against Saudi cause he had a US Visa" ignoring that the Visa only gives US protections in the US. Basically the only people truly safe from extradition and with US full protections are US citizens.

2018-11-17 03:11:57 UTC

Saudi citizen, on saudi land, saudi issue

2018-11-17 03:13:14 UTC

People want us to stay out of other countries....but not now? Hmmm

2018-11-17 03:15:21 UTC

makes you think

2018-11-17 03:18:29 UTC

but yea it is in everyone's best interest to stay the fuck out of Saui as we know military intervention almost never works out the way we want it to

2018-11-17 03:18:57 UTC

My money, my tax dollars, my military equipment and weaponry

2018-11-17 03:20:47 UTC

invading Saudi Arabia will just make Iraq 2.0 electric boogaloo

2018-11-17 03:21:00 UTC

They buy most the shit. We dont give it to them.

2018-11-17 03:21:32 UTC

And until the us can purge enviros we cant acheive full energy independence

2018-11-17 03:23:25 UTC

We have more oil than them

2018-11-17 03:24:43 UTC

But cant touch most of it

2018-11-17 03:24:50 UTC

Cause enviros

2018-11-17 03:26:15 UTC

Just like cali, or, and wa burn every year. Because the enviros chased out the loggers

2018-11-17 03:26:48 UTC

the silly thing is that enviros idiots are the ones that stops eclectic cars being truly environmental as now they run on coal power but if they did go for nuclear power they be offsetting the damage of making them

2018-11-17 03:27:30 UTC

idk we're pretty much entirely hydro here

2018-11-17 03:29:06 UTC

hydro is a good way to generate power. but a lot of the power still is coal or other fossil fuel

2018-11-17 03:29:28 UTC

Well they're plebs then lol

2018-11-17 03:30:28 UTC

and to nail down the point fully, a coal plant produce around 3 times airborne radioactivity then a old nuclear plant

2018-11-17 03:30:43 UTC

Yeah, coals dirty as fuck lol

2018-11-17 03:31:40 UTC

@Fitzydog oregon, wa, and ca are removing all their dams

2018-11-17 03:31:45 UTC

Thanks to the enviros

2018-11-17 03:32:10 UTC

What, all the dams on the Columbia? lol

2018-11-17 03:32:20 UTC

They are on the docket

2018-11-17 03:32:30 UTC

Cause muh fishies

2018-11-17 03:32:45 UTC

and wind power is not environmental at all as they kill all the bird life around them for miles and the noise pollution is like having an airport next door 24/7

2018-11-17 03:32:50 UTC

No they're not. That's 80% of the power for 25% of the country

2018-11-17 03:35:37 UTC

@Goblin_Slayer_Floki how dafaq are they going to get power?

2018-11-17 03:35:56 UTC

Today the main stem of the Columbia River has 14 dams, of which three are in Canada and 11 in the US. Four mainstem dams and four lower Snake River dams contain navigation locks to allow ship and barge passage from the ocean as far as Lewiston, Idaho.

2018-11-17 03:36:05 UTC

Im willing to bet they have not taught of that yet

2018-11-17 03:36:20 UTC

All 4 lower snake removals are approved and the remaining fl4 mainstreams are under planning

2018-11-17 03:36:29 UTC

"Muh wind"

2018-11-17 03:36:53 UTC

Oregon removed hydro from the state definition of "green energy"
