I don't think Trump has been gaining very much

2019-09-11 06:11:23 UTC

i used to be more democratic

2019-09-11 06:11:29 UTC

but i switched

2019-09-11 06:11:39 UTC

well of course you don't see it

2019-09-11 06:11:44 UTC

i could

2019-09-11 06:11:46 UTC

i see it in the small towns and states

2019-09-11 06:11:46 UTC

I mean, by what metric?

2019-09-11 06:11:46 UTC

He has, for one minority support is noticeably higher this time around

2019-09-11 06:11:53 UTC

You see it...

2019-09-11 06:11:58 UTC

But the polls don't show it

2019-09-11 06:12:00 UTC

to be honest, both parties are pretty crap

2019-09-11 06:12:15 UTC

^^^^^^^^^^

2019-09-11 06:12:16 UTC

theres really no meaning with the both of them

2019-09-11 06:12:19 UTC

GG @Cobra Commander, you just advanced to level 5!

2019-09-11 06:12:20 UTC

Polls are flawed, but they can show relationships - like downwards trends

2019-09-11 06:12:21 UTC

^^^^^^^^

2019-09-11 06:12:33 UTC

polls are flawed

2019-09-11 06:12:39 UTC

we all remember the 2016 election

2019-09-11 06:13:27 UTC

aight if we're done imma nod off

2019-09-11 06:13:35 UTC

i gotta get up early for work

2019-09-11 06:13:45 UTC

and its currently 1 for me

2019-09-11 06:14:02 UTC

ironically DNC special delegates are not democratically elected

2019-09-11 06:14:23 UTC

Ok, sweet dreams about Trump's orange body glistening in the sun (or whatever it is you folks dream about)

2019-09-11 06:14:34 UTC

The DNC delegates process is fubar

2019-09-11 06:14:49 UTC

i actually try to lucid dream

2019-09-11 06:14:57 UTC

I have tried and failed

2019-09-11 06:15:01 UTC

most of them are me on vacations in socialists countries

2019-09-11 06:15:16 UTC

Well, intentionally I have failed...have had some interesting experiences unintentionally

2019-09-11 06:15:17 UTC

then them failing and me being stuck there

2019-09-11 06:15:23 UTC

yeah, and because they vote so unison; 2020 election is going to basically be oranges vs bidens

2019-09-11 06:15:31 UTC

lmao

2019-09-11 06:15:40 UTC

also who the fuck is andrew yang

2019-09-11 06:15:41 UTC

Except the dems have a very nasty habit of throwing their votes away too

2019-09-11 06:15:50 UTC

Such as voting for Yang

2019-09-11 06:15:55 UTC

or writing in some other junk

2019-09-11 06:16:00 UTC

i keep seeing him around here and there

2019-09-11 06:16:07 UTC

ill look into it tomorrow

2019-09-11 06:16:14 UTC

I'm tired as shit

2019-09-11 06:16:38 UTC

@Cobra Commander The link you posted about minority voters pulls from a survey that says "Itโ€™s way too soon to say whether this is a temporary blip on the radar or whether Trump is on to something. Weโ€™ll be watching."

2019-09-11 06:16:39 UTC

I actually like Yang and Tulsi

2019-09-11 06:16:50 UTC

But I suppose that's for most polls

2019-09-11 06:16:52 UTC

Yeah I know

2019-09-11 06:17:16 UTC

All if it is too early to tell, that goes without saying

2019-09-11 06:17:17 UTC

In any case, maybe he's getting more support in certain places - something to watch out for

2019-09-11 06:17:20 UTC

well i mean your first article stated that it wasn't sure either but you counted it as evidence

2019-09-11 06:17:30 UTC

why am i hurting myself

2019-09-11 06:17:33 UTC

i need sleep

2019-09-11 06:17:33 UTC

Lol

2019-09-11 06:17:39 UTC

Go to sleep big guy

2019-09-11 06:17:45 UTC

We can duke it out later

2019-09-11 06:17:48 UTC

aight man

2019-09-11 06:17:58 UTC

it was fun ngl

2019-09-11 06:18:10 UTC

have a good night or moring

2019-09-11 06:18:13 UTC

morning

2019-09-11 06:18:15 UTC

You too

2019-09-11 06:18:18 UTC

Yang has some good stuff @Cobra Commander

2019-09-11 06:18:20 UTC

good day

2019-09-11 06:18:49 UTC

On the one hand I think it's kind of a waste of time to have all these candidates. But on the other hand, they bring national attention to various issues

2019-09-11 06:20:01 UTC

As long as when the time comes to choose between Creepy/Sleepy/Grabby Biden and Crazy Bernie, they don't throw their vote in for someone else (thereby sealing a really unfortunate and unwanted Biden VS Trump battle)

2019-09-11 06:20:27 UTC

Then again, like 3v6en8 said too, the DNC process is pretty broken anyways

2019-09-11 06:21:02 UTC

So individual voters don't really mean all that much when it comes to picking a democratic nominee ughhh

2019-09-11 13:18:26 UTC

Whatโ€™s wrong with the DNC process?

2019-09-11 13:19:50 UTC

Btw, you canโ€™t say that trumpโ€™s approval rating with minorities is higher this time around than 2016, because he didnโ€™t have an approval rating in 2016

2019-09-11 14:50:06 UTC

the DNC has a weird voting system; the have delegates representing a state and superdelegates

2019-09-11 14:51:54 UTC

delegates are suppose to vote with their state while superdelegates can do what ever they want

2019-09-11 14:53:04 UTC

delegates are elected but superdelegates are not

2019-09-11 14:53:24 UTC

thats where the sus things happen with party elections

2019-09-11 14:54:48 UTC

I dont think trump really needs votes from minorities; he lost his mojo with maga so the elections going to be hard

2019-09-11 14:56:01 UTC

and a lot of people are jumping onto the band wagon on who hates trump the most; thats the new election process

2019-09-11 16:15:00 UTC

Ok so- firstly most superdelegates are elected

2019-09-11 16:15:32 UTC

They also are barred from voting on the first ballot, which means theyโ€™re essentially tiebreakers now

2019-09-11 16:16:41 UTC

Second- the parties are not lower-case-d democratic institutions

2019-09-11 16:18:36 UTC

The super delegates are the party leaders, they are just deciding who they want to nominate

2019-09-11 16:19:29 UTC

Only 20 (2.7%) of the superdelegates are not elected

2019-09-11 16:21:00 UTC

And those are all former elected officials, like Obama, Clinton and Carter are among those 20

2019-09-11 16:21:48 UTC

is it only 20?

2019-09-11 16:21:54 UTC

that doesnt seem that much

2019-09-11 16:23:28 UTC

Yeah, itโ€™s not that much

2019-09-11 16:27:23 UTC

i guess most super delegates are elected in some way

2019-09-11 16:28:01 UTC

still, superdelegates fucked bernie 15% of the nomination

2019-09-11 17:06:53 UTC

@Platinum Spark I didn't mention anything about approval ratings, I said that he's gaining more minority support.

2019-09-11 17:07:26 UTC

Hopefully that clears up my statement

2019-09-11 19:14:52 UTC

@Cobra Commander The article you quoted is about approval ratings

2019-09-11 19:17:05 UTC

The author is suggesting that approval rating and vote total are synonymous- we know that they are not

2019-09-11 19:17:32 UTC

Ok time to debate up in this bitch

2019-09-11 19:18:07 UTC

In fact, if they were, trump would be looking at a catastrophic map in 2020, showing him negative in OH, WI, MI, PA, FL, NC, AZ & TX

2019-09-11 19:18:08 UTC

GG @Platinum Spark, you just advanced to level 12!

2019-09-11 19:18:24 UTC

IN too

2019-09-11 19:19:04 UTC

Trump 2020

2019-09-11 19:19:09 UTC

That's happening

2019-09-11 19:19:31 UTC

jschlatt2020

2019-09-11 19:19:35 UTC

You can thank the squad for that

2019-09-11 19:19:48 UTC

You can ๐Ÿ˜”

2019-09-11 19:21:37 UTC

The midwest has constantly been lied to

2019-09-11 19:22:25 UTC

And it's so cringe to see the candidates pretend to care about them

2019-09-11 19:24:07 UTC

Ok, so how is he going to make up all the ground heโ€™s lost in PA?
