This was around when Razer switched from Cherry to Kailh, so it's also possible the Razer-specced ones were just bad.

in a recent interview with coolermaster, a rep revealed that they surveyed customers and found out that most people want options using kalih box

even in high end diy keyboards people rarely go for cherry switches, its either expensive tactile switches like zealios (made by gateron), vintage switches, or some kalih box switch
