@Tribit looks like a USB capture card. it lets you capture video
enjoy the desynced audio <:alismirk:230784726615588865>
@transience is that one of the $3 spinners?
i ordered one of those a while ago but still waiting for it
they were all like £6 then suddenly dropped to £2-3 after that idiot unboxer dude on youtube had one
some large manufacturer must have started pumping them out
you can check price history using this site but it's not that accurate http://www.aliprice.com/
I ordered one at the end of feb, still waiting for it to arrive
chinese flash memory is expensive and crap
no idea why anyone buys that stuff on aliexpress
you save $0.5 but have no warranty and a chance it's fake
I'm pretty sure the official samsung micro SD cards are actually cheaper on amazon than ali
as for recomendations, i have a samsung 128gb stick that is decent
usb 3 and actually very nice speeds, doesn't get too hot
samsung memory bar or something like that
@lemonhands yeh that's it, it's very small
similar design but write speeds are slower
anyone got any cheap sunglasses recommendations?
the csg wiki says some sellers use china post ground shipping
I've had loads of items sent via "Seller's shipping method"
everything is always "small packet by air"
I think i've only ever had 1 item sent via ground shipping and it was from gearbest
@kennethlujan that means it's in your country
but I've had some parcels take 4 weeks after landing
isn't it better to measure coffee by weight anyway
you have to use armbian though, they added a lot of tweaks and fixes
It has 3 USB ports + USB OTG that you can use as a device port too
it's cheaper than an rpi and doesn't hang everything off a usb hub
but software support is a bit hit and miss
@Dear Friend use the google translate app for your phone, it can do it from a photo or live capture
welcome to the future btw <:alismirk:230784726615588865> <:aliOK:251417852156837888>
don't you wash it into the soil, not on the leaves?
you can get plastic cloches that are cheap or just use a 2L bottle
that you put over the plant to keep it warm
take a clear plastic 2L bottle and cut the top off
@Deleted User how long have you been waiting for the item?
I don't think i've ever waited more than 10 weeks
and nothing has ever taken more than 10 weeks
AFAIK lots are just reseller/dropshippers
and the factory just didn't ship for some reason
silicone spray might be good as a libricant
@ルナフクロウ#9924 i always wanted a muvo back in the day
@Tribit interesting but what she "invented" isn't the same at all
that shows the kid playing with her version
parents are OK with kids not giving them hassle
if you were born in 94 you were not a 90s kid
yeh, all the cheap chinese crap was only available from shops with massive markups
now at least it's cheap even if it's crap
this website has old argos catalogues, look at the prices of tech http://retromash.com/argos/
you guys remember minidisc players? techmoan did a nice video on the history of them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kU3BceoMuaA
@HEKTIK it's a loyalty card that was first introduced at supermarkets
all of the people who buy replica sneakers use agents
but people are happy to pay an agent $20 and $40 for some shoes
Headphones are difficult to buy without trying them on if you want comfort
@Mega Milky 2019 there is a $1 spinner somewhere lemme find the link
if you mean the ones with the small 1w panels that sit on the front
prob better to get a decent power bank and a fold-out solar panel usb charger
not these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NL6nySngGtU
didn't watch the video but how do you not get shafted when chinese sellers fail to ship or ship crap?
i've seen a few people on reddit talk about drop shipping. get clear photos etc and you can make money
@🚂Quatroking🚂 (🇳🇱) possibly because some USB devices are too wide and won't play nicely if you have ports that are close together
rear pc usb ports are usually really close together
@🚂Quatroking🚂 (🇳🇱) what is a micro usb reader? sdcard reader?
I have this one, it allows you to read 2 cards at once
i used to have one of those multireaders, but who the fuck uses CF or memorystick anymore?
some people really like feet <:benis:239668961011040257>
but having a decent flashlight is really useful in the dark
if you spend your time in cities then you won't need a flashlight
what other headphones do you have to compare?
and in stores they all sell the same junk
@fedora is that dax wallet a knockoff or genuine?
anyone have one of these? do they actually work?
are fake ray ban sunglasses still available on aliexpress still?
I see the odd seller then they get nuked in a few days or weeks
there's no way fake sunglasses need to be $30
you guys seen the new fidget spinners with bluetooth speakers and LED inside
I can't even log in using Firefox, the login box doesn't appear
if any of you guys use topcashback they have the £2.50 off £10 spend promotion running again
can't see why aliexpress would accept paypal
@Pengu what are you dropshipping? high value items?
they have some sort of middle-man shipping going on now
it doesn't have any china post labels, it just has a RM sticker
actually it's been like this since I started using ali standard
I assume they bulk ship stuff to europe and avoid customs somehow?
these are nice lights, they have a cob led on the side
QC <:alismirk:230784726615588865> <:aliOK:251417852156837888>
has any seller cloned that TS100 soldering iron yet?
I use the cheap $5 usb soldering iron when I cba to wait for my regular one to heat up
they do actually draw 8w when the tip is new
I do use leaded solder, but find they gradually decline in power to the point where solder just doesn't flow as well and you end up dragging the solder off when you remove the iron
in the UK you have to also pay an £8 fee on top of the customs charges
@ludverk just go ask the post office to explain the charges
it's fine if you have lots of small loads
the only thing wrong with cheap lights is the switches are pure junk
Anyone used these bluetooth amp modules? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/CSRA64215-4-0-4-2-Bluetooth-Module-HIFI-Digital-Amplifier-External-DAC-Board-PCM5102A-Low-Power/32833254253.html
I wanna try to convert some headphones into BT
that don't produce white noise when there is no input
previous BT headphones I've had always either click and pop after they go idle or just produce annoying white noise when silent
it's 2018, can someone please make decent BT headphones
the 5x is a great phone if you don't get a bootloop
@Goz3rr I got a Xiaomi branded one of those
Huawei make them too. They come in retail packing
Which means nothing as I got a fake Xiaomi usb cable in the same style pouch
Mine comes apart if you don't squeeze it as you pull
I have a white one from gearbest that was £0.10
I only use it to connect to my pc. USB c charges at 3A
