I remember hearing of chink microSD cards (with a shark or something on them?) but I don't recall the manufacturer. My Sandisk Ultra 64gb SD cards were not good enough for the time lapse I was attempting recently in my GoPro Hero4. had a whole bunch of dropped frames. are there any chink SD cards that would be worth it?

I've never seen them. I know a friend who would buy bootleg figmas off of ebay. they kept arriving broken. he'd complain and they'd just send him another. usually between the two there were enough good parts to assemble one halfway decent one.

How does Monoprice's 8323 stack up against chink earphones. I've enjoyed it. replaceable cable, nice over-ear design. isn't perfect sounding but for $16, it's pretty damn good.

Welp, New Taobao order placed! $100 in 1/43 scale odd car and truck models, hopefully to my door in about a month!

Some of the car models I order from Taobao I probably *could* find elsewhere, considering they're models that are potentially sold elsewhere. But numerous times the model and the shipping are less than if I bought it elsewhere, even though it's coming from China. which is crazy

I've found Russian trucks and some Chinese cars are easier to find inexpensively in 1/43, and then some, annoyingly are far easier (and cheaper) to find in 1/32 or 1/36. for this small stuff I prefer 1/43, although I've certainly gotten some cool models in 1/18.

So I've been trying to get my hands on Chinese license plates. a friend has some with him in Jiangsu, but he's found that shipping can be really pricey from China. However, when you buy from aliexpress or Taobao, shipping is really cheap! I don't get it.

my favorite? it's hard to say. I've got a few that I kind of shouldn't have, which is fun. couple of Israeli Military plates, NY "Official" plate, Michigan "manufacturers" plate...

The soda thing is because there's a company in my hometown that makes a soda and only really sells it there. so when I go home, I buy a 6-pack of every flavor. it lasts me quite a while. and its super cheap.

There are legitimately people who have stuck Honda CRX half-radiators on their computers.

If you know how big a Honda CRX is, it's a pretty small radiator. a decently sized Full ATX case would probably fit it externally on the side without it sticking over too much

The nice thing about the shark cards is that I can get four or five different styles all with the same size. That makes it a lot easier for me to organize my cards

And actually, at the moment they're having a sale where you can get shark cards for about seven dollars a piece before shipping. Which is cheaper than Western brands
