No whale Iโve ever heard of, thatโs for sure.
Thereโs a reason itโs so prominent in mythology throughout the world.
Actual dragons.
Just like actual Giants.
So much they do not want us to know.
No doubt.
Dragon and Dinosaur is the same word.
They just changed the word to sell evolution.
Dinosaurs were made of fragments. Any real bone they ever had was likely from a big reptile and even perhaps a dragon they called a dinosaur.
And made up the rest.
Yes seems fake to me. Though some of them are real as there are carvings of them from long ago. How did they know how to carve these if they were not in existence back then.
Check this out.
There are also paintings and even human and dragon footprints together. Man stepping on a dragon footprint and it hardened.
Neat
YEP in Texas in a river bed
One was destroyed by an archaeologist. He destroyed it and claimed he could not find it.
Too bad we canโt ask the Native Americans who painted how they saw a half human, half horse-donkey looking thing was what they wanted to share.
Yeah there aren't any left
Utah has a lot of strange looking areas.
Where else do I read of half human half donkeys?
The book of Jasher.
Transhumanism
There are also maps with them drawn on them.
like the Island of Dr. Morreau
In what is now called Antarctica. They show it without ice and a lot of people living there.
No kidding.

Leviathan (/lษชหvaษช.ษฮธษn/; Hebrew: ืึดืึฐืึธืชึธื, Livyatan) is a creature with the form of a sea monster from Jewish belief, referenced in the Hebrew Bible in the Book of Job, Psalms, the Book of Isaiah, and the Book of Amos. ... The word later came to be used as a term for "great whale" as well as of sea monsters in general.
One of these old maps shows tunnels linking lakes and seas under water. How did they use them?
Scriptures say thereโs fountains of the deep.
could be a faked map.. you dont know one way or the other
Yes. Most rivers come from the deep in reality. Why they flow all summer long.
Almost like a circulatory system. As if there actually may be a heart of the earth.
Could be an extreme concept, I know.
Guess I could believe Genesis or THE BOOK OF JUBILEES. They sure conflict on Genesis 1 and 2.
facepalm
It seems to combine Genesis 1 and 2.
Yeah.
There isnโt two creation events. Thereโs one.
I find the Old Testament more trustworthy. Not just found in Ethiopia with questionable stories.
If you find it more trustworthy, you wouldnโt doubt Christ like Ethiopians havenโt.
They would treat you like absolute reprobate.
For real.
I have nothing to say about these Orthodox believers. They live a difficult religion and praise god.
They would call you lazy. A slacker in the word of God.
Orthodox seems to be strong believers.
I suppose they would. I do not fast like they do for sure.
Ethiopians would straight up deny your premises.
Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
**Galatians 1:8 - New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)**
```Dust
<8> But even if we or an angel from heaven should proclaim to you a gospel contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let that one be accursed! ```
Iโm in this to win.
Souls for Jesus.
As with the other sacraments, references to Holy Baptism with water can be found in the Old Testament.
The deliverance of Noah and his family in the ark is regarded in 1 Peter 3: 20-21 as an "antitype of baptism" and a reference to future salvation. In Christian tradition, the Israelites' passage through the Red Seaโtheir deliverance from Egyptian captivityโis also understood as a reference to the deliverance that occurs through baptism with water.
The Mosaic Law strictly distinguishes between "clean" and "unclean". Water is one of the means used to bring about ritual purity. Persons who were unclean in a religious sense had to subject to a bath of purification (Leviticus 13-15).
Ezekiel 16: 9 mentions a washing with water and an anointing with oil, through which Jerusalem was received into a covenant of salvation. This can also be understood as a reference to Holy Baptism with water and Holy Sealing.
Likewise, the situation of the Aramaic commander Naaman can be related to baptism: at the instruction of the prophet Elisha, the leper washed himself by dipping his body seven times into the Jordan, and the disease abated (2 Kings 5: 1-14). This can be understood as a symbol for the washing away of original sin through baptism.
Yes I encourage you to win. Do all you can to be the best person possible.
Iโm trying to win you to Christ. Not for my benefit. But yours.
I have nothing to gain, but perhaps a brother. Thatโs all.
Gaining a brother is MASSIVE
Brian posted some great passages on BAPTISM Steve
Every time someone excepts Christ there is a party in heaven
I dont think i want another brother. I have enough of those
I believe that
i dont think you have been invited to the PARTY yet Cat21 DO YOU WANT TO COME??
There is not a comparison between earthly brothers between heavenly. The difference is just as much.
My phone is almost dead otherwise i would
Exodus 15:7-15
**Exodus 15:7-15 - New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)**
<7> In the greatness of your majesty you overthrew your adversaries; you sent out your fury, it consumed them like stubble. <8> At the blast of your nostrils the waters piled up, the floods stood up in a heap; the deeps congealed in the heart of the sea. <9> The enemy said, 'I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil, my desire shall have its fill of them. I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.'<10> You blew with your wind, the sea covered them; they sank like lead in the mighty waters. <11> "Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in splendor, doing wonders? <12> You stretched out your right hand, the earth swallowed them. <13> "In your steadfast love you led the people whom you redeemed; you guided them by your strength to your holy abode. <14> The peoples heard, they trembled; pangs seized the inhabitants of Philistia. <15> Then the chiefs of Edom were dismayed; trembling seized the leaders of Moab; all the inhabitants of Canaan melted away. ```
The ones in the water drowned. The evil soldiers of Egypt.
@Steve Angell Did you see the passages I located that discuss baptism in the OT?
The people were joyful at their death and thus their deliverance.
There are a number of examples brother of baptism in the OT
I can find more if you like?
Baptism comes up again in the story of the Flood (Genesis 6-9). Cain's children had practically ruined the world since "every thought of their hearts was evil every day of their lives." But God's Word, water, and the Holy Spirit (the breath of Life) brought about a regeneration and renewal of the world. Noah and his family, eight people in all, were saved from judgment by water, God's Word, and the Spirit.
Baptism comes up again at the time of the Exodus. When the Israelites were led through the waters of the Red Sea, St. Paul teaches us that this was a Baptism (1 Cor 10:1-2). He writes, โโฆour ancestors were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea, and all of them were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.โ Israel was saved from bondage through water, God's Word, and the Spirit (the cloud that went before and behind Israel was the presence of God). In the same way, God saves us from the Egypt of slavery to sin and death by leading us through the Red Sea of Baptism.
Clean and unclean. A woman was unclean because of her period. Everyone washed before going to the Temple daily. You washed a lot according to this law to get clean. Sort of like what we do when we shower. Nothing at all like baptism.
Evil was destroyed Steve.....and how was this done? By Baptism of Gods people, a washing away of sin and uncleanliness.
thats not completely true
steve
To claim there is no account of baptism in the OT is intellectually dishonest my friends.
Excuse me the people walked on dry land across the seabed. They did not get wet.
a woman wasnt unclean JUST because of her period
Steve, Spiritual Baptism
Yes she was.
Look at Noah and the flood
The water was merely representing what God does. When we turn to him, he cleanses us.
Look at Noah and the flood. Another example of Gods WORD, and spirit cleansing the world and the unrighteous by baptismal waters
Women were unclean most of the time.
(1 Cor 10:1-2). He writes, โโฆour ancestors were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea, and all of them were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.โ Israel was saved from bondage through water, God's Word, and the Spirit (the cloud that went before and behind Israel was the presence of God). In the same way, God saves us from the Egypt of slavery to sin and death by leading us through the Red Sea of Baptism.
This seems to make it clear Steve
It is like you look for water in the Old Testament then anything found you say Baptism. No Baptism is a specific rite. It has a specific purpose in most religions.
(1 Cor 10:1-2). He writes, โโฆour ancestors were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea, and all of them were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.โ Israel was saved from bondage through water, God's Word, and the Spirit (the cloud that went before and behind Israel was the presence of God). In the same way, God saves us from the Egypt of slavery to sin and death by leading us through the Red Sea of Baptism.
Steve its like you can't see the forest from the Trees
At the Jordan river, when God through Joshua brought Israel into the Promised Land, we again read about water, God's Word, and Spirit. It was no coincidence that Jesus was baptized in this same river. But now, on account of Jesus, we're led into the heavenly Promised Land. Jesusโ name in Hebrew is Joshua. Jesus is the new Joshua who leads us into the kingdom of God through Baptism. That's why he tells Nicodemus, โTruly, truly, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God, without being born of water and Spirit (John 3:5). We are born again in the Jordan of Baptism.
**John 3:5 - New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)**
```Dust
<5> Jesus answered, "Very truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit. ```
You can not use the New Testament to prove the New Testament. Circular reasoning.
Shhh
and read
Since you prefer the OT read this
Tell me what you think it may be referring too..
