2018-03-13 13:59:52 UTC

I'm a paleoconservative

2018-03-13 14:00:09 UTC

Seems to me you're a lot more far right than you say you are

2018-03-13 14:01:04 UTC

I take the Pat Buchanan position on race and religion,

2018-03-13 14:02:13 UTC

The United States cannot survive if it loses its White Christian majority

2018-03-13 14:02:43 UTC

Lol ok

2018-03-13 14:03:21 UTC

Unless someone starts bringing Europeans in then it will lose that majority

2018-03-13 14:03:49 UTC

This guy lives in Peters Township which is like the richest suburb there is in the South Hills. It's more Republican as well

2018-03-13 14:03:52 UTC

I don't think we should bring anyone in

2018-03-13 14:06:39 UTC

Be honest, Den,

2018-03-13 14:07:06 UTC

Is there enough people in the blue area to carry Lamb to victory

2018-03-13 14:09:32 UTC

No like Washington County is pretty densley populated in some area and that arm is Westmoreland count and their turnout for Trump was off the charts look up how much Westmoreland county contributed to Trumps victory they basically cancelled out all of Allegheny County so many voted for Trump and Westmoreland has a much much smaller population

2018-03-13 14:10:41 UTC

Rather i should say Washington County has a lot of Exurbs

2018-03-13 14:16:07 UTC

So I drew a P over what I think is Peters Township. We know there will be high turnout there

Besides Pompeo is former Tea Party

2018-03-13 15:00:50 UTC

He's okay

2018-03-13 16:56:05 UTC

Bummer, I liked Tillerson x) but oh well

2018-03-13 16:56:26 UTC

I don't think he enjoyed his job anyway, he seems more of a business man than s politician

2018-03-13 17:11:12 UTC

i did for a while but apparently the cuck level was escalating

2018-03-13 17:12:40 UTC

He never invaded anything so he's ok by my book

2018-03-13 17:13:10 UTC

2018-03-13 17:36:25 UTC

So I just talked to the 5 Republicans who I work with who also live in the district and they all voted or will vote for Saccone today

2018-03-13 17:59:16 UTC

Just woke up

2018-03-13 17:59:33 UTC

How are things so far

2018-03-13 17:59:36 UTC

THE RESULTS HAVE STARTED COMING IN

2018-03-13 17:59:44 UTC

Already?

2018-03-13 17:59:50 UTC

I thought polls haven't closed yet

2018-03-13 18:00:02 UTC

@Deleted User ITS OVER

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/399676530394923010/423178439483326466/ITS_OVER.png

2018-03-13 18:00:02 UTC

And we don't have early voting in Pa

2018-03-13 18:00:15 UTC

<:jeblogo:422443272649310208>

2018-03-13 18:00:19 UTC

@Den I think if turnout is high it should be beneficial for Saccone

2018-03-13 18:00:19 UTC

<:jeb:422443179887820810>

2018-03-13 18:00:25 UTC

Do you agree

2018-03-13 18:00:27 UTC

no

2018-03-13 18:00:34 UTC

the opposite is true

2018-03-13 18:00:44 UTC

Den will agree with this assessment

2018-03-13 18:01:00 UTC

there are a lot of suburban voters in the northern corner of this district

2018-03-13 18:01:09 UTC

if they go out and vote, it's over

2018-03-13 18:01:12 UTC

I think Saccone got this

2018-03-13 18:01:27 UTC

Talking to people who live in the district it sounds that wat

2018-03-13 18:02:08 UTC

hmmm

2018-03-13 18:02:15 UTC

i'm still pessimistic

2018-03-13 18:02:33 UTC

@๐ŸŽƒBoo-ton๐ŸŽƒ that doesn't make sense

2018-03-13 18:02:43 UTC

Surely if turnout is high it'll be more like the Presidential race

2018-03-13 18:02:53 UTC

There aren't enough Democrats in the distinct to over power Republicans. They only win if Republicans don't bother voting

2018-03-13 18:03:00 UTC

@Den @Deleted User can you guys update me on turnout level as the day goes on?

2018-03-13 18:03:06 UTC

low turnout would benefit the democrats because it means a lot of GOP voters will stay home

2018-03-13 18:03:22 UTC

@Den do you agree with my assessment

2018-03-13 18:03:44 UTC

Earlier I said that a guy I worked with voted at 7 and there were more people at his location then during the general

2018-03-13 18:03:57 UTC

keep in mind,

2018-03-13 18:03:59 UTC

Horey shet

2018-03-13 18:04:06 UTC

there are 700,000 in this district

2018-03-13 18:04:07 UTC

And that's an area favorable for Saccone right

2018-03-13 18:04:10 UTC

7 is not a good sample

2018-03-13 18:04:21 UTC

He lives in Peters Township which is a very Republican Suburb

2018-03-13 18:04:32 UTC

@๐ŸŽƒBoo-ton๐ŸŽƒ lmao you think shitty polls with low counts are good samples

2018-03-13 18:04:49 UTC

fair enough,

2018-03-13 18:05:08 UTC

the problem with just 7 people,

2018-03-13 18:05:25 UTC

is it's likely they are all the same in terms of region, age group, etc.

2018-03-13 18:05:26 UTC

If we win this I think it's a good sign that the media overplayed its hand with the Blue Wave and scared Republicans out of complacency

2018-03-13 18:05:35 UTC

remember,

2018-03-13 18:05:48 UTC

the average swing has been +16 D in federal special elections

2018-03-13 18:06:04 UTC

that means if Saccone can win by +5 or better, it's an improvement

2018-03-13 18:06:13 UTC

less than +3 is a sign for the worse

2018-03-13 18:06:40 UTC

I don't know. Lamb is really strong candidate and Saccone is really weak

2018-03-13 18:06:55 UTC

correct, he'll lose

2018-03-13 18:07:29 UTC

I'm saying that would explain some of the Swing

2018-03-13 18:07:40 UTC

2018-03-13 18:07:52 UTC

you can ignore Alabama,

2018-03-13 18:08:01 UTC

Montana,

2018-03-13 18:08:06 UTC

because of the scandals

2018-03-13 18:08:18 UTC

but how do you explain the other swings?

2018-03-13 18:09:35 UTC

Rs are too fucking lazy atm

2018-03-13 18:09:48 UTC

like, Jesus, what happened in Kansas?

2018-03-13 18:09:49 UTC

You have orgs rallying dems up, which is a major problem

2018-03-13 18:10:40 UTC

We've got to have something to energize our side to the polls

2018-03-13 18:11:25 UTC

making a new /rsg/ thread right now

2018-03-13 18:14:05 UTC

@FLanon is exactly right

2018-03-13 18:14:09 UTC

that's the point i've been making

2018-03-13 18:14:21 UTC

he's right,

2018-03-13 18:14:22 UTC

but,

2018-03-13 18:14:23 UTC

how?

2018-03-13 18:16:57 UTC

A winning message, the guys at the RNC are a bunch of clowns, Ryan and McConnell are not Newt Gingrinch. Us and Trump need to drive the R constituents to the polls and remind them, the fight's not over.

2018-03-13 18:17:22 UTC

If the average age of the discord were a lot higher I'd probably suggest running for office.

2018-03-13 18:17:33 UTC

i think we need to focus more on the culture war than policy

2018-03-13 18:17:53 UTC

The message can encompass that

2018-03-13 18:18:23 UTC

We'll need to get people to go to the polls somehow, maybe by scaring them into it, but I don't know.

2018-03-13 18:19:04 UTC
