but you're free to not follow
and just go do your own thing
or split up into two groups
they aren't *forcing* you to follow
even if you just naturally do because you go with the group
take the leader and assume he has the minority of the group following him
yes
this group doesn't then force everyone else to follow
they can split up, or the larger group support takes dominance and the minority group follows along
so the leadership can change depending on what the group decides is best
with traditional structures, that minority group would simply use violence to enforce their will on the larger group
this is what happens today with the government and police/military
a small minority decide what goes, their enforcers inflict violence on those who disagree
I see
and of course the majority go along with it due to the threat of violence, which then further reinforces the minority rule
either due to "well they're in charge"
or just due to "I don't want to upset the norm"
but imagine if the majority of the US just said "fuck the police and govenrment, we're gonna live how we want"
the first thing that would happen is that there'd be a lot of violence by the government/police/military
It wouldnt work imo
such as what happens in a protest
the majority would outnumber, but have to self defend
now, I'm not *quite* sure how that would play out
since the majority has always gone along with those in power
and it's only the minority who struggle to free themselves
rather than enforce their will
or rather
a majority follows one minority that wants power
while another minority tries to free itself from that power
i see
it's an absolute mess tbh
anyway that's the anarchist struggle and the problems we face
all ideologies have their own struggle though
yep
such as under capitalism where you end up with growing wealth inequality, and stupidly high consumption
or how capitalism leads to inevitable large police/military and gov control
in order to enforce and regulate it all
anarcho-capitalism, while not anarchism, takes on some anarchist principles and ideas in order to avoid this overregulation and to try and give power to the individuals who earn money
I used to be ancap but realized that ownership and capitalism are what were causing the problems
i see
but yeah. I support a peaceful and free society
which is why I'm an anarchist
:)
:\)
it's just that's a utopia that's a long way off unfortunately
Well i hope you achieve your goals in your country eventually
thanks
if you look around I'm sure you'll find that you adopt a lot of anarchistic principles in your own life
ok
hopefully that clarifies anything you were curious about
Yes it does :) thank you and good luck
alright
so ive recently become a flat earther
after doing an experiment
i stood on my floor
and then dropped some water on it
the water didnt roll as it would on a circle
and i didnt lean to one side, like a circle would
so
thats how i can prove the earth is flat
what do yall think
under the globe model the curve is so slight that even after large distances you still don't feel it
needs more lasers
Funny
Cant ever see the curve
Cant feel the curve?
Why do planes not account for curve?
out of interest has there been any flat earth to circumnavigate the globe or whatever model you guys believe in?
like on a boat
I am intrigued on how you fall on a flat Earth as gravity wouldn't work and many flat earthers dont think that the earth moves
@evil chicken circumnavigation works the same on a globe or flat earth going east or west

So, your counter evidence?
p. 5 para 3
Project MOCKINGBIRD -- During the period from 12
March 1963 to 15 June 1963, this Office
installed telephone taps on two Washington based newsmen who were suspected of disclosing
classified information obtained from a variety
of governmental and congressional sources."
Yeah, I might've just fucked up
so, now that i have soundly refuted the claim
one example*
of where conspiracy theorists never fact-checked
You did nothing
not you specifically, since you didn't bring it up, i did
i brought it up as an example
to show one case where conspiracy theorists didn't fact-check to the primary source
seriously @๐The Mad Philosopher๐ how dumb have you got to be to click on a link from the same agency that smuggles coke into the USA on dressed up passenger jets?
i'd post the screenshot if i could
so, can i get unmuted now and verbally respond?
You mean where SOME or ONE person may not have.
Stop generalizing
They lost credibility at Reagan Contra 30 years ago
well, i see it in the list of interests, and that's why i brought it up
I don't give a fucking fuck what Ollie North said there, the CIA are guilty as hell
it's the same with PRISM/NSA,
most never fact-checked
and i can go into looooong detail on how that works
I did, I found snowden's back door in a router, had to get into the firmware though
Are you going to try to tell me the NSA isn't spying on us?
