With what we know now, I looked up Hollywood death statistics vs civilian deaths. Nothing comes up. It has to be 10x higher if not more. Some discrepancies iffy be able to be explained but certainly not all.

the platform used to be free and open prior to google/alphabet buying it up
they should stop all monetization and let content creators seek out their own way of getting value for value .. it would probably mean that YouTube becomes subscription based like Netflix to make up for the running cost and create their own content to make money..like netflix. It was never free it always had the intent to make money on our content.. they provide the server space and they own your content.
It's not going to be long and you're (selected) able to upload to Netflix then YouTube will have a problem keeping their big content creators.
