Alright, I’m a knitter in my other life 😉 There is an online community for knitters, crochers and spinners/dyers with over a million members. This is what they pulled today. Keep in mind they support pride and LGBQT-XYZ which has zero to do with the craft. I’m leaving along with a lot of other ticked off people. It’s a private sight and apparently we have no recourse. Not that id even bother.

i kinda agree with ipot at the end...u shouldn't have to leave the platform..u should fight it legally on the platform

the platform used to be free and open prior to google/alphabet buying it up

they should stop all monetization and let content creators seek out their own way of getting value for value .. it would probably mean that YouTube becomes subscription based like Netflix to make up for the running cost and create their own content to make money..like netflix. It was never free it always had the intent to make money on our content.. they provide the server space and they own your content.

It's not going to be long and you're (selected) able to upload to Netflix then YouTube will have a problem keeping their big content creators.
