I'm gonna finish the hiking video today and Thomas and I are gonna be leaving town for like 1.5 weeks so I'm gonna pass it to you Jason to do color grading and face blurring

I'm 100% going to invest the extra money in a high end laptop powerful enough to do video editing instead of building a new computer so I can start editing footage on the road

Look into blurring on an adjustment layer above the clips.

I'm not sure if they will be called adjustment layers on your software but I'm sure it exists. It's just a transparent layer that goes in the timeline overtop and you should be able to put blurs on there instead of the actual clip

Actually shoot you aren't even working on a regular timeline since it's just exported to you

Just do everything you can and I'll see if I can fill in the rest if I can get it running alright on my laptop

It's alright if some of the blurs bleed over into the other clips too, it's probably a huge deal. Can you send me a sample of what you are able to do on a dissolve transition?

How do you like the video? The audio really bothers me with all of the wind noise but others that I have shown it to so far have liked it

Dude this camera you gave me has a sick camera. Was using it for some of the live updates on Telegram thing for M2R, and the camera has an internal stabilization thing that makes it look like it's on a gimbal.

This guy has been around for a long time, posting his own PF style edits on our tweets. He disappeared for a while, but is back now, it looks like. Expect him to be doing this quite a bit.

But now with M2R docs and stuff like this we've been working on getting cleaner audio. Getting good looking video is easy, audio is a bitch to really get clean

I downloaded a video compressor app on my phone that should really help out. It compressed one of the videos we did at NJP thing from 150 down to 30 in just a few seconds

Somebody mentioned reaching a download limit recently, which I had never heard of. I have multiple accounts with a high limit, so I'm not sure if I've just never come across that problem, or it is something they recently changed. If it is a download limit that was reached, I imagine opening up the link in a window that is logged out of your Mega account will clear the download limit.

Henry MA reached out to me about you having hiking footage from NH that wasn't used in the hiking video. Chances are you sent it to me, and I just missed it on the list of things to use for that Summer Hiking video. I thought there was just that Go Pro footage and I could only use so much fo that. We will sort it out after this weekend, and if there's a bunch of footage that I missed, we will use it for something else.

For logistical reasons of it being a pain in the ass to split up a Mega folder sent to me that includes multiple states in it, and put them all in various state folders on the Raw Video folder, I just imported the full NW7 footage folder into November. I may actually end up doing it more often if more networks send me nice & clean folders of their months recaps that include various states. If there's some logistical reasons against doing that I'm not thinking of right now, we can reassess later, but for now the November folders has both state folders as well as a full network folder.

This event was absolutely a victory. Antifa came at us hard, caused financial loses, but we can and will overcome those. The event itself couldn't have gone off better. We accomplished the mission flawlessly, with no arrests or injuries.

Wait before accepting donations. Thomas and I will be able to go over all of it tonight before making any decisions. Im sure we will be taking help, so keep in mind all of the people who offered, it's just that Thomas doesn't want to make any big financial decisions until he has time to get on his laptop again tonight and organize it.
