Tbh Im more interested in what way EU parliament will decide to count votes <:TimThink:482277772497125378>
So if abstention will count or not for total number of votes.
Since it's not showing. The EU added a requirement to a vote on upload filters to "remove terrorist content"
Within an hour
It's new proposal independent of upload filters, that generally says "within 1h remove content we don't like, or else..."
So what happens to 'get woke go broke' at a level such as that..?
I used to think Get Woke Go Broke was just a meme then I saw it in practice and I was like "holy shit, wow, okay"
Stuff like the new Doctor Who trailer, they had a glass ceiling shatter around the new Doctor and then a big thing saying "IT'S ABOUT TIME" across the screen
When you put the focus on identity politics and not the actual merits of your show, people are turned off
You don't tell anyone about what the show is
How is this not obvious to ANYONE in marketing?! Focus on the damn product
Tell people why your product is the best, don't be like "It's okay to like our product, look, it's a product accessible to many markets"
If it *is* accessible to many markets it will be
By putting total focus on a new market vehemently, you oppose existing ones
*ostracise
The whole point of the consumer's feedback is to help you.
And when you TURN ON THE CONSUMER for their feedback, you're a fucking martian.
worse, they straight up attack their existing markets all the time for calling them out on the change
Maybe because show doesnt have anything more to offer anymore? I mean- moment when they build Doctor as basically a god was when problem started. How are you gonna top that?
The customer isn't always right.
But when you DISCARD LOGIC
Like the wage gap.
So they went full woke mode, hoping that it will bring ppl back, and they failed
"UGH this customer. Trying to tell me the wage gap isn't real"
Like when EA were like "If you don't like it don't buy the game"
Name one business who have told their customers not to buy their product
It's about operating within the market
Forcing change on the market DOESN'T WORK
"this customer. Trying to tell me the wage gap isn't real when i clearly pay my female employees less"
"and they say i'm the shitty person here? *scoff*"
Just a bunch of sneaky lying atheists, huh Grenade? 😛
lol
Nah but seriously like
How a business functions is on supply and demand, fundamentally. They make profit by meeting the demand. So *ignoring demand* is the most idiotic thing ever
They are leaving vast market vacuums
The problem is it's all the way up the ladder
There's a gap in the market for stereotypically masculine or right-leaning television shows but that gap isn't being filled because TV execs are denying those shows airtime, you feel me? Plus generally people on the right don't chase creative careers as often, but I don't think that's as related
Its not even ignoring demand, its forcing ppl to change their demand.
"Oh, so you want to buy apple? No man, im gonna sell you banana, and you will like it"
