when they can make a good game again
@Timcast based on the outline of what you mean by rare, and such, and saying over 50% would be what youd call common, i would say false accusations are common.
Seen as we can proof something between 29% and 41% of accusations individualy to be false beyond a shadow of a doubt (data from 2009 germany and 1994 US respectivly)
The disagreement isnt about the term rare its about the data
where I live it's over 50 percent
It may be but you probably cant proof it in over 50% of cases
or maybe you can
the 29% and 41% figures are actualy lowballs
based on ONE piece of evidence which in itself does proof that its a lie. In case of 29% and germany, selfinflicted injuries presented as stemming from a rape, in case of 41% in the US based on the accuser ADMITTING to have lied. There may well be evidence proving other accusations false as well
In any case i would aquitt if i was in the US and in the jury of a rape trial. Regardless of evidence
If i personaly saw the guy chasing then holding down a struggling woman, i would not convict
Reason being, it couldve been some BDSM playsession
she may have had a safeword
and becouse her sexual history cant be used as evidence, the defense cant announce this fact.
If a fair trial is impossible, you have no choice but to aquitt
And im not the first to say exactly that
What if theres video evidence,
8 witnesses
And the man was found on top of the woman proclaiming "I'm glad i raped the woman"?
I mean i was trying to portray something to that effect with what i described
woudln't that technically make rape legal in your country?🤔
i guess now you have in addition to that the guy himself describing it as rape
ys it would
that would just be a short trip to vigilante justice me thinks
and id prefer that over the current situation
Lol I didn't know john wick was in psycho pass
Vigilante justice allready happens against the falsely accused
Oh no one is arguing the current situation is good,
Right now its listen and believe, and the man is shoved off to jail instantly
Do you guys think China's social credit score system is a good idea?
no
I personally kinda like it
Its a bad idea
You like the idea of socially and financially alienating people who don't agree with the state?
Well we do have a system for that in western countries.
It's a measurable metric, one you can track.
Its called psychiatry
I guess what I don't like the amount of power the government will have
which is the whole point of the social score system
that the government can just control your score behind the scenes
Well, that is the way it is announced, as a measurable metric the government manipulates behind the scenes
They don't like you? you lose points
People who asociate with you lose points
People dont wanna asociate with you
You get places behind the line on help/finances
You effectively become exiled
Isnt it?
