One of the things that made it very easy for me to date, is that I am very approachable and very kind. I am willing to go out of my way to do things for them. But I am also level headed, so I don't let them walk over me.

Yeah.... I understand her family was trying to be protective.

But her life went down hill, because they interfered. She has no anchor that I was willing to provide for her.

Though I suppose if she would capitulate to her family that readily, and if her family would cut you off that readily, it may not have turned out all that well after all.

She ended up homeless and on drugs. While I got my own home, 100K inheritance, and etc etc...
