*lable feminists applied to MRAs and they accepted
What difference does that make? If you're forming your identity around your activism for men's rights and in being a man as your defining trait you're an identitarian.
to quote a prolific MRA "If you are not both an MRA and an WRA, you are not egalitarian, if you arent either, you are not a humanist"
But there is a difference between being an MRA and being for men's(and human's) rights, just as there's a difference between being for women's rights and being a feminist
yes?
So then that quote is false.
being for mens rights definatly does make you an MRA just as being for womens rights makes you a WRA
Being and *activist* for men's rights makes you an MRA.
Or an *advocate*
Which ive seen MRA to mean to at least some degree of recularity as well
Do you think most who consider themselves an MRA would consider themselves feminists?
not that its much of a difference "to advocate" is an action
No, becouse feminism has never been about womens rights
Not even 150 years ago
They WOULD consider themselves to be WRAs
So I've been thinking
Plenty of feminists are going to say "if you're for women's rights you're a feminist". You're doing the exact same thing here, the only difference is you think you're right just as many of them think they're right.
Republicans can get women on their side via family ingrained values.
Except MRA is LITERALLY just the noun to the verb
Also
Democrats can get males on their side via soy conditioning and appealing to ideals of fairness.
Im fine with MRAs beeing seen as feminists
see
Regarding fairness, males react to the ideal and females react viscerally.
if YOU mean that you are for equal rights by saying you are a feminist, then, yes, most MRAs are feminists
I didn't ask what you're fine with, I asked what most who consider themselves an MRA would consider themselves.
But overall, republicans appeal to masculine drives and democrats to feminine.
@Schedrevka well, again that depends on how YOU define those terms
In regards to MRA, thats pretty straighforward
I'm rather upset about the amount of males who can't get their nut up and end up siding with the women.
It depends on the individual's definition. Do you think most MRA's definition of 'feminism' would be something they ascribe to themselves.
@schred
@Schedrevka well some will tell you it depends on what you mean by feminism
If you walked up and asked the average MRA "do you consider yourself a feminist" and only allowed yes, or no, do you think they would say yes or no?
He's got ya Punk.
Because you're doing the exact same thing here by forcing your definition onto others and expecting everyone to agree with it.
@Schedrevka after all, you can discuss concepts without agreeing on definitions, cant you?#
Why are you even making the case that MRAs would be feminist?
The point is that your definition of "MRA just means you want men to be treated well" isn't the common definition of MRA.
No.
