He deserves real respect to be done right

2018-09-29 20:17:39 UTC

Anyone here really into computers?

2018-09-29 20:21:26 UTC

I left when the chat died aghh

2018-09-29 20:22:19 UTC

I'd be talking more but doing a mixture of getting shit done and not getting shit done. It's a really intricate process

2018-09-29 20:22:42 UTC

@R9b1t how do you mean "really into computers"?

2018-09-29 20:22:52 UTC

being into them is, in some sense, a major part of my job.

2018-09-29 20:25:25 UTC

Well I convinced my father you can download more ram without windows operating systems.

2018-09-29 20:25:47 UTC

Moral of the story is I need a moderate computer for video games that I plan to use mostly for office work

2018-09-29 20:26:09 UTC

But I’m not sure about brand or what I can run

2018-09-29 20:33:59 UTC

@Timcast MGTOWs in general dont tend to be identitarians. Most MRAare also WRAs. Thats just not controversial enough to even state

2018-09-29 20:34:02 UTC

@King Canuck I am still on the theory that Thanos was full of crap and still only wants in Death's pants.

2018-09-29 20:34:32 UTC

If you dont want people *including men* to be tortured for no reason, guess what, you are a MRA.

2018-09-29 20:34:48 UTC

Its just the noun to the verb of advocating for the rights of men

2018-09-29 20:35:14 UTC

@ryuplaneswalker we'll see. The first canon novel to the MCU that's not an adaptation is going to be about Thano's life

2018-09-29 20:35:24 UTC

so we'll see then

2018-09-29 20:38:51 UTC

What do you mean by not wanting people to be tortured means you'rea a mgtow?

2018-09-29 20:39:26 UTC

If you think people should not be tortured due to human rights, you are advocating for the rights of humans. Including men. That makes you a MRA.

2018-09-29 20:40:13 UTC

I can understand saying that makes you an MRA, though I'd disagree just as I'd disagree if you said it makes you a feminist, but what does that have to do with men giving up on women?

2018-09-29 20:40:13 UTC

Oops

2018-09-29 20:40:16 UTC

my bad

2018-09-29 20:40:23 UTC

let me change that

2018-09-29 20:41:09 UTC

not that the mainstream sees much of a difference

2018-09-29 20:41:17 UTC

They should.

2018-09-29 20:41:45 UTC

Yes

2018-09-29 20:41:48 UTC

They should

2018-09-29 20:41:53 UTC

Sorry, im a bit buzzed

2018-09-29 20:43:47 UTC

qwfuqwdgfiuqwefgoiuqweghriulyugirueyiruewh

2018-09-29 20:43:47 UTC

As Styx reported, Spice is very dangerous.

2018-09-29 20:43:48 UTC

In my experience it does seem like a very large percent of MRAs are political/sexual identitarians. It seems like the ones who would be in favor of men's rights but aren't identitarians are much more likely to call themselves egalitarians or humanists

2018-09-29 20:43:48 UTC

tiy feele

2018-09-29 20:43:49 UTC

?

2018-09-29 20:43:52 UTC

no

2018-09-29 20:44:27 UTC

@Schedrevka well the thing is,MRA is not a lable they made up. It was a labe

2018-09-29 20:44:41 UTC

*lable feminists applied to MRAs and they accepted

2018-09-29 20:46:10 UTC

What difference does that make? If you're forming your identity around your activism for men's rights and in being a man as your defining trait you're an identitarian.

2018-09-29 20:46:20 UTC

to quote a prolific MRA "If you are not both an MRA and an WRA, you are not egalitarian, if you arent either, you are not a humanist"

2018-09-29 20:47:13 UTC

But there is a difference between being an MRA and being for men's(and human's) rights, just as there's a difference between being for women's rights and being a feminist

2018-09-29 20:47:28 UTC

yes?

2018-09-29 20:47:48 UTC

So then that quote is false.

2018-09-29 20:47:55 UTC

being for mens rights definatly does make you an MRA just as being for womens rights makes you a WRA
