@xorgy the solution is a middleground. no 2nd or 3rd Trimester abortions. its not perfect and I'm (now) anti abortionbut thats at least something

2018-09-30 19:47:39 UTC

dae support an abortion tax credit

2018-09-30 19:48:14 UTC

let the govt subsidize abortions to slow down the over population problem

2018-09-30 19:55:17 UTC

there is no over population problem in the western world. the birthrate for a stable country is 2.1 children per women, in the west its currently 1.6 per woman. And that includes the Mormans and catholics πŸ˜ƒ

2018-09-30 19:56:05 UTC

its importing people in unsustainable numbers that is straining our countries.

2018-09-30 20:01:44 UTC

@Jes I just don't take a position, really.

2018-09-30 20:02:16 UTC

@Jes I think that that middle ground is unsatisfying to some pro-life people, and kinda doesn't solve the problem they see.

2018-09-30 20:02:26 UTC

which is understandable, and has really nothing to do with the veracity of their argument.

2018-09-30 20:03:44 UTC

I made it out of the womb, and this far, I would not forgive a woman for killing my child at six months, and whether the law is some middle ground or a hardline stance, as long as it does not conflict with that I will abstain from opining about it.

2018-09-30 20:04:03 UTC

@xorgy I find it comes down to when is the baby a human life. if its at conception all abortion is murder, if its at birth then no abortion is murder ect. And I hate that solution personally however in some states of America you can abort up to 9 months which (personally) I think is barbaric

2018-09-30 20:04:05 UTC

tim's rockin the green today

2018-09-30 20:04:53 UTC

does flirting count as murdering babies now?

2018-09-30 20:05:09 UTC

I personally think abortions in the last trimester seem barbaric too, but I honestly don't have the energy to argue it.

2018-09-30 20:05:37 UTC

It's gross, like the genocide of the Rohingya, so likewise I just ignore it until it hits close to home.

2018-09-30 20:05:43 UTC

fair mate. I never did until it affected me personally suddenly you find the energy when you are the parent (to be.)

2018-09-30 20:06:12 UTC

Yeah, that's more or less how I think it'll be.

2018-09-30 20:06:30 UTC

Apparently, though, fence sitting like this is "part of the problem".

2018-09-30 20:07:07 UTC

I hate to know that my mother's ramblings online are contributing to a culture which will toss me in a gulag for the opinions I hold today.

2018-09-30 20:07:25 UTC

lol

2018-09-30 20:07:31 UTC

And while she does that, she gets to think that she's just "respecting the liberty of women".

2018-09-30 20:07:38 UTC

you're welcome to join the oppression olympics πŸ˜‚

2018-09-30 20:07:51 UTC

Yeah, I have some points to cash in

2018-09-30 20:08:17 UTC

Though, the way that paedophile acceptance is going on the progressive left, I may not have any oppression points left in a few years.

2018-09-30 20:08:32 UTC

this trump war film is propaganda

2018-09-30 20:08:34 UTC

so is michael moores

2018-09-30 20:08:40 UTC

but at least this one actually makes sense

2018-09-30 20:08:45 UTC

heheh

2018-09-30 20:09:56 UTC

My mother was explaining 11/9 to me, while we were in Michigan until a few hours ago, and my main contention was: if it's basically half about things that happened in Flint _years before Donald Trump was president_, then why is it called _Fahrenheit 11/9_?

2018-09-30 20:10:31 UTC

Her answer was that Flint is somehow a representation of the country, and on that point she really lost my attention.

2018-09-30 20:11:01 UTC

It's called that because he had a film called Fahrenheit 9/11.
