@Jes I think that that middle ground is unsatisfying to some pro-life people, and kinda doesn't solve the problem they see.
which is understandable, and has really nothing to do with the veracity of their argument.
I made it out of the womb, and this far, I would not forgive a woman for killing my child at six months, and whether the law is some middle ground or a hardline stance, as long as it does not conflict with that I will abstain from opining about it.
@xorgy I find it comes down to when is the baby a human life. if its at conception all abortion is murder, if its at birth then no abortion is murder ect. And I hate that solution personally however in some states of America you can abort up to 9 months which (personally) I think is barbaric
tim's rockin the green today
does flirting count as murdering babies now?
I personally think abortions in the last trimester seem barbaric too, but I honestly don't have the energy to argue it.
It's gross, like the genocide of the Rohingya, so likewise I just ignore it until it hits close to home.
fair mate. I never did until it affected me personally suddenly you find the energy when you are the parent (to be.)
Yeah, that's more or less how I think it'll be.
Apparently, though, fence sitting like this is "part of the problem".
I hate to know that my mother's ramblings online are contributing to a culture which will toss me in a gulag for the opinions I hold today.
lol
And while she does that, she gets to think that she's just "respecting the liberty of women".
you're welcome to join the oppression olympics 😂
Though, the way that paedophile acceptance is going on the progressive left, I may not have any oppression points left in a few years.
this trump war film is propaganda
so is michael moores
but at least this one actually makes sense
heheh
My mother was explaining 11/9 to me, while we were in Michigan until a few hours ago, and my main contention was: if it's basically half about things that happened in Flint _years before Donald Trump was president_, then why is it called _Fahrenheit 11/9_?
Her answer was that Flint is somehow a representation of the country, and on that point she really lost my attention.
It's called that because he had a film called Fahrenheit 9/11.
Just changed the date.
I know that, but surely he could wait you know...
a couple years
maybe make a documentary about all those bad things that Donald Trump is supposedly doing.
The honest answer is that he has very little to go on, and if you try to point a camera at Donald Trump's abject tyranny, you will see nothing but a void where it was supposed to be.
This way he gets to cop out and just say he can't call his next film 11/9 because he already wasted the name on a film more appropriately titled "Flint Alight" or some shit like that.
I can't imagine much of it was about flint.
Didn't watch it though.
Michael Moore is from Flint.
And some of my family lives in the area, so it's a hot topic for some of them.
If that remains true, it is certainly better news than pure _Idiocracy_.
