Yeah not much of that now. Was introduced to a few officials who were dedicated and ran hotels for the local visiting government types. It was always a parade of “look at all these expensive things we have” almost like “this is what our blind devotion gets us”

3k additional people passing through the medical system in a few days is a huge uptick that we're not built to service
if the number of people being hospitalised for 2020 flu/pneumonia drops in the next trusted reports then I will adjust my position and start questioning too
however, given the thin line between health care service coping and falling apart, I'm going to stick with that this seems proportional as a default.
