corporatism is often in effect socialistic.
I'd rather look at what he actually did than what he said.
but that would be stupid you’d be organizing for me to say “no you don’t educate yourself”
Mises' Omnipotent Government goes into the whole Nazi theory and practice pretty well.
hitler tied corporatism with jews like wtf
For concrete examples, you can look at the state involvement with companies like IG Farben.
But then again, many countries cozy up with corporations during war time and vice versa.
people want to twist the history to fit their current agenda
Corporatism isn't Socialism i think, although that is debatable
Total war encourages companies to get involved in their country
Kind of hope we cut ties with China, Nike and their child labor:
corporatism in which government controls the actions of the companies is effectively socialist
You cannot afford companies going under at war time, so you cannot have a totally free market
From German Wikipedia.
I couldn't find this reference in the English version.
what does it say
I can’t buy an atom bomb so it isn’t a true free economy
But that subsidization and state involvement can be found in other places.
i wish they stopped subsidizing corn syrup
@Deleted User Mises wrote Omnipotent Government in 1944 and called Nazism socialist
It refers to the process of petroleum synthesis.
It is not some modern interpretation.
It had not been viable at that moment for cost reasons. IG Farben, Hitler, and other companies worked closely together to achieve political aims.
nazists didnt made it like the russians
the russians decided every aspect of the companies that were nationalized
hiring
wages etc
Sure. Difference of degrees. Not kind.
Turns out when you want to eat something that’s from another state that isn’t feasibly possible in its natural form to transport to your state to consume you need to preserve it
the nazis seted a diferent degree of control
Well I mean, especially mcdonalds
```"Since we are socialists, we must necessarily also be antisemites because we want to fight against the very opposite: materialism and mammonism… How can you not be an antisemite, being a socialist!"
-Hitler.```
they decided the prices of everything
pretty much thats what socialsits do
This form of corporatism, where companies are technically still owned by individuals, but the state is significantly involved for political direction, is often quoted as defining for fascist countries.
I don't go in for the whole "liberal tears" shit. I think that's really annoying to use that in an argument. I've had people making bad points say that to me when I reply to them, so I have very strong convictions behind that.
BUT.
But.
I'm really, really happy to see people profoundly sad about this supreme court thing.
What Hitler wrote in Mein Kampf I would be more suspicious of. Much of it was election propaganda.
I'm a happy camper.
