CT is getting fucked by union deals. These fucks have pentions they can get starting at 50 or some shit. When was the last time private sector had those?

(semi-</s>)

2018-10-14 03:08:15 UTC

Oklahoma collects close to the lowest tax revenue per capita

2018-10-14 03:08:21 UTC

@Grenade123 I think if pensions matured when they were promised, then a lot would be better.

2018-10-14 03:08:26 UTC

It would not surprise me if females and males had different brain structures.

2018-10-14 03:08:29 UTC

I do not want any Unions in my state... period.

2018-10-14 03:08:40 UTC

Exceptional... they are focusing the taxes on certain things.

2018-10-14 03:08:50 UTC

@Grenade123 part of the problem is that the state gets to wait to be liable for pensions.

2018-10-14 03:08:56 UTC

Making them expensive as hell instead of using broad taxing.

2018-10-14 03:09:02 UTC

@Grenade123 it should come out of the current-year budget.

2018-10-14 03:09:05 UTC

Taxing across the board in low percentages is better.

2018-10-14 03:09:06 UTC

Public sector Unions should be illegal.

2018-10-14 03:09:18 UTC

@Grenade123 They are fast becoming so.

2018-10-14 03:09:30 UTC

erh, rather, forcible ones.

2018-10-14 03:09:45 UTC

I favor luxury taxes personally

2018-10-14 03:09:45 UTC

Mostly focused on Tobacco and Green Vehicles.

2018-10-14 03:10:03 UTC

That is because you probably don't smoke.

2018-10-14 03:10:07 UTC

@Dusty Morgan How will you pay for the roads without taxing non-users more?

2018-10-14 03:10:11 UTC

But for the people who do smoke, it is hell...

2018-10-14 03:10:12 UTC

wee popping in this discord channel for fun

2018-10-14 03:10:16 UTC

unions often times can be good for workers-i just think of wrestling where they are treated as "independent contractors" Wrestlers in comparison since they have no union and thusly aren't compensated for the revenue they bring in anywhere close to what actors or athletes get

2018-10-14 03:10:20 UTC

These Unions are paid with my money but yet I have no say? I can't fire the lazy fuck at the DMV, neither can my state, and they get paid with my money? No, fuck that.

2018-10-14 03:10:27 UTC

and i have no clue to whats going in here

2018-10-14 03:10:36 UTC

but hi everyone

2018-10-14 03:10:48 UTC

Hello @MourningMoon Welcome

2018-10-14 03:10:55 UTC

@Grenade123 Yeah, no public office should be required to allow workers to do union work on the public dollar.

2018-10-14 03:11:07 UTC

@RomanReigns there is a difference between public and private sector unions

2018-10-14 03:11:23 UTC

Unions charge workers automatically... then donate that money to political parties that workers are probably not for. If are a republican and get charged by Unions, they take the money and donate to liberal organizations.

2018-10-14 03:11:36 UTC

honestly was just watching tims vids on youtube and saw he had a discord ch and decided to pop in and see whats goes on in here

2018-10-14 03:11:38 UTC

Basically they take the money and use it against you.

2018-10-14 03:11:59 UTC

seems like some more violence tonight going on

2018-10-14 03:11:59 UTC

@RomanReigns in the public sector, the unions are outrageous. In many places the law requires the government to allow workers to do union work during work hours.

2018-10-14 03:12:29 UTC

Hell Unions have been charging workers who are not even in Unions for crying out loud.

2018-10-14 03:12:30 UTC

@RomanReigns In many cases, workers can not work for some government offices without paying the union.

2018-10-14 03:12:48 UTC

Recently they had that practice struck down by Congress thankfully.

2018-10-14 03:13:16 UTC

Unions donate overwhelmingly to liberal causes and Democrat organizations.

2018-10-14 03:13:27 UTC

Any Republicans in Unions are misrepresented.

2018-10-14 03:13:38 UTC

And overwhelmingly because they support legislation which further ingrains unions, and funnels money to their leadership.

2018-10-14 03:13:40 UTC

Workers should be encouraged to negotiate as a group without the bureaucracy of a union.

2018-10-14 03:13:52 UTC

in the case of teachers persay many republicans literally try and slash education budgets a teacher supporting state level gop would literally be like an oil exec who supports dems

2018-10-14 03:13:56 UTC

Here in Canada, our public sector and pseudo-public-sector unions are incredibly abusive.
