while taxes for food is 5% and everything else is at 12%, so sin taxe brings stuff to 15%

from my understanding of white privilege, things like not fearing the police, not being suspected/constantly watched when going in a store

thats more of a being a normal citizen thing

i mean i dont fear the police, cause i know ive done nothing wrong and in the case of when i do get confronted by them for we reason, i just do what they ask and all is fine

and as a employee of a retail store myself, anyone who looks sketchy gets monitored

granted they are a very small minority

also i cant blame any police officer for being vary/paranoid when it comes to black people, last time i checked despite being 13~% of the US pop they commit 50~% of violent crimes and are 1 of the biggest cop killers

Thinking on that I feel social justice is like medicine, its only good when used PROPERLY. When used at the right time, in the right amount, on the right person/thing (use it on the person thats actually sick) and administered the right way (cough syrup does not go in my nose) then it is good

problem is the super sensitivity most of the time, just cause a person sneezed doesn't mean he has the flu and you should shove an entire bottle of flu medicine down his throat

you actually need to closely examine w/e it is and really find out if it is the flu (racism/sexism etc) or if its just a natural occurance

yea, with medicine when used improperly it can also lead to some serious side effects and in some cases even death
