@Grenade123 Yeah, no public office should be required to allow workers to do union work on the public dollar.

2018-10-14 03:11:07 UTC

@RomanReigns there is a difference between public and private sector unions

2018-10-14 03:11:23 UTC

Unions charge workers automatically... then donate that money to political parties that workers are probably not for. If are a republican and get charged by Unions, they take the money and donate to liberal organizations.

2018-10-14 03:11:36 UTC

honestly was just watching tims vids on youtube and saw he had a discord ch and decided to pop in and see whats goes on in here

2018-10-14 03:11:38 UTC

Basically they take the money and use it against you.

2018-10-14 03:11:59 UTC

seems like some more violence tonight going on

2018-10-14 03:11:59 UTC

@RomanReigns in the public sector, the unions are outrageous. In many places the law requires the government to allow workers to do union work during work hours.

2018-10-14 03:12:29 UTC

Hell Unions have been charging workers who are not even in Unions for crying out loud.

2018-10-14 03:12:30 UTC

@RomanReigns In many cases, workers can not work for some government offices without paying the union.

2018-10-14 03:12:48 UTC

Recently they had that practice struck down by Congress thankfully.

2018-10-14 03:13:16 UTC

Unions donate overwhelmingly to liberal causes and Democrat organizations.

2018-10-14 03:13:27 UTC

Any Republicans in Unions are misrepresented.

2018-10-14 03:13:38 UTC

And overwhelmingly because they support legislation which further ingrains unions, and funnels money to their leadership.

2018-10-14 03:13:40 UTC

Workers should be encouraged to negotiate as a group without the bureaucracy of a union.

2018-10-14 03:13:52 UTC

in the case of teachers persay many republicans literally try and slash education budgets a teacher supporting state level gop would literally be like an oil exec who supports dems

2018-10-14 03:13:56 UTC

Here in Canada, our public sector and pseudo-public-sector unions are incredibly abusive.

2018-10-14 03:13:59 UTC

Basically... Unions are bad.

2018-10-14 03:14:11 UTC

Hello

2018-10-14 03:14:18 UTC

Hello.

2018-10-14 03:14:35 UTC

They are basically a way for crown corps and public offices to mistreat people they don't like without getting into trouble.

2018-10-14 03:14:56 UTC

Kinda been watching Tim for a while and figured it was about time I joined

2018-10-14 03:15:09 UTC

unions in the public sector are a conflict of interest but gop only see glarring levels of conflict of interest when it hurts gop votes

2018-10-14 03:15:24 UTC

I know a guy who just sorta wasn't liked by literally one executive at a major crown corporation here, and it is pretty clear that the union was instructed to represent him incompetently.

2018-10-14 03:15:25 UTC

Mitchy, you came to the alt-right discord for that.

2018-10-14 03:15:25 UTC

@MourningMoon this all started with a picture of a prop car for the joker movie I just walked by, and a billboard for lung transplants, lol

2018-10-14 03:15:45 UTC

wat in the actual hell then!?

2018-10-14 03:16:02 UTC

Unions also syphon funds from education though, you don't need a union to make sure teachers get paid

2018-10-14 03:16:20 UTC

Welcome to the chaos Mitchy.

2018-10-14 03:16:25 UTC

they don't see it when for example the decision or not to charge a cop who shoots an unarmed person is arbitrated by people who's job has every incentive to make police unions happy. It's the police policing the police

2018-10-14 03:16:35 UTC

@MourningMoon Then we got on the topic of lung cancer, lung cancer rates; then Dusty recalled that in his state they are attempting to impose a sin tax on cigarettes which is bothering him.

2018-10-14 03:16:44 UTC

I think Unions should be disband.

2018-10-14 03:16:54 UTC

I don't think that unions should have any special legal protections.

2018-10-14 03:16:55 UTC

lol

2018-10-14 03:16:57 UTC

They are more harmful for the workers and don't represent them at all.

2018-10-14 03:17:01 UTC

He is kidding of course, doubt there are any alt-right or very few here

2018-10-14 03:17:13 UTC

They donate to mostly leftist causes... aka 8%

2018-10-14 03:17:15 UTC

sin taxes? i was just taught about that stuff in my econ class last week

2018-10-14 03:17:15 UTC

If companies want to subject workers to unions, it is what it is.

2018-10-14 03:18:11 UTC

@MourningMoon In this case, they missed the deadline to impose taxes, so they pretended that it was an administrative fee; the OK Supreme Court found the way they did that unconstitutional, and struck it down.

2018-10-14 03:18:14 UTC

@Mitchy also hello, i am your like 4min older sempai in this ch
