You two are literally constantly comparing apples and oranges :D

@Donny means it in literal terms
Theres no god-given right to land and stuff

The land you have is yours by sovereign right of the state and people

2018-10-15 10:42:12 UTC

There are studies on how in more Cohesive and Homogenous societies people have a sense of place and security, there is more social engagement and trust. Nation States are clearly superior hence to Multi Culti Countries.

2018-10-15 10:42:18 UTC

If someone with more force takes it they wont suddenly go "Oh thats yours isn't it? well i'll just walk around it"

2018-10-15 10:42:51 UTC

@rhite do non native citizens of Germany get to vote in Elections on equal terms with a Native German?

2018-10-15 10:43:07 UTC

they do

2018-10-15 10:43:15 UTC

No

2018-10-15 10:43:22 UTC

What Wol said is what I meant yes, but old m8 seems to be saying natives to a land should have a higher level to entitlement to some plot of land under that state's laws <:thonk:394078105070862346>

2018-10-15 10:43:39 UTC

Ah citizens yes

2018-10-15 10:43:45 UTC

By non-native do you mean not born in Germany?

2018-10-15 10:44:20 UTC

Is there any western nation which restricts voting to only those born in the country?

2018-10-15 10:44:37 UTC

No, because that would be facist and racist

2018-10-15 10:44:43 UTC

I'm saying the Natives of a Land should work to preserve their Status in their own country.
A London full of majority Non English people will take the city in a very different than would a London with an English Majority.

2018-10-15 10:44:45 UTC

there should be.

2018-10-15 10:44:48 UTC

and what @AdorableStormtrooper means is that you have a right to defend your culture/country from other influences, because its your right to say "I dont want to be influenced by outsiders if i dont want to"

2018-10-15 10:45:14 UTC

on the soil your ancestors conquered and claimed, and passed down to you

2018-10-15 10:45:20 UTC

A Nation is the sum today of it's people, you replace the people of France with the people of Algeria and Morocco and it will be France in name only.

2018-10-15 10:45:23 UTC

I mean thats your right yes, but thats why we live in a democracy

2018-10-15 10:45:43 UTC

If people are un happy with the current way things are going they can just vote

2018-10-15 10:46:18 UTC

they are not given option to vote if they want to be replaced or not.

2018-10-15 10:46:24 UTC

Oi nah but apparently it bad if someone who wasn't born on ur country's soil can vote aye

2018-10-15 10:46:58 UTC

Even if they are a citizen of several years, working and paying tax in that country

2018-10-15 10:47:14 UTC

Well its bad if someone comes to your country for the prosperity you and your fellows made

And then wants to turn your country into one thats like the one they left in the first place

2018-10-15 10:47:20 UTC

and EU level you cant even vote for those unelected leaders who make big decisons for coutnreis and policys.

2018-10-15 10:47:32 UTC

There are things you will never get to vote on in a Democracy, for god sake you really think everyone with an idea has an equal chance to compete, no bank in France would give Loans to Marine Le Pen's party and she had to borrow money from the Russians which was used against her in the campaign @rhite

2018-10-15 10:48:00 UTC

well its the banks money, they get to decide who to loan it to

2018-10-15 10:48:09 UTC

"we live in a Democracy", no you don't as long as German and English police can barge in through your door for posting a wrong comment on Twitter.

2018-10-15 10:48:38 UTC

a Democracy needs the Right to Free Speech, if you can't even express certain ideas in public, how will you get to vote on them?

2018-10-15 10:48:39 UTC

thats still a democracy, just not freedom (of speech)

2018-10-15 10:49:01 UTC

Democracy just means the vote of the majority, it has nothing to do with your right to speech

2018-10-15 10:49:04 UTC

Yeah that doesn't really disqualify from being a Democracyâ„¢

2018-10-15 10:49:19 UTC

thats why you have "Peoples republics" in Asia, where theres only 1 party 😄 you can vote, but theres only 1 vote to make

2018-10-15 10:49:20 UTC

```give me control over a nation's currency and i care not who makes its laws```
2018-10-15 10:49:27 UTC
Although is not democratic in spirit admittedly
2018-10-15 10:50:00 UTC
As long as the people decide who rules, it's a democracy
2018-10-15 10:50:14 UTC
as long as people can VOTE its a democracy
2018-10-15 10:50:17 UTC
It can be an authoritarian one
2018-10-15 10:50:19 UTC
No one is barging through any doors for a wrong comment
2018-10-15 10:50:34 UTC
look up "Count Dankula" rhite
2018-10-15 10:50:43 UTC
@rhite The police dragged a woman ot of her door for telling someone to have a gay day
2018-10-15 10:50:59 UTC
That is all literal
2018-10-15 10:51:22 UTC
Dankula got arrested, charged and sentenced for teaching his dog to get excited to the phrase "Gas the Jews"
