The essences of freedom is allowing everyone to have their own ideals, their own opinions, and their own beliefs. To be able to set their own goals, choose their own lifestyles, and live where they want. But there is limits to that freedom, you do not have the freedom to infringe upon other's freedoms. You do not have the freedom to oppress others. You do not have the freedom to take another's life. You do not have the freedom to steal other's fruits of their labor.
Basically freedom is to do what you please as long as it doesn't infringe upon other's rights.
