this just seems like they didn't think it through at all

2018-10-22 11:49:28 UTC

Like the funny thing is

2018-10-22 11:49:42 UTC

You can say nasty shit off the supperchats

2018-10-22 11:49:46 UTC

And thats cool

2018-10-22 11:50:02 UTC

But saying it in supperchats will steal the money

2018-10-22 11:50:12 UTC

Like it doesn't make any sense lol

2018-10-22 11:50:50 UTC

If you say bad stuff you can get banned (i can understand this)

2018-10-22 11:50:59 UTC

plus the incentive for that only exists if you want to donate to the creator

2018-10-22 11:51:06 UTC

But why would that mean youtube steals your money as well ?

2018-10-22 11:51:35 UTC

Also note what some ppl pointed out

2018-10-22 11:51:53 UTC

its jsut retarded,

Youtubers that wanna do charity drives tend to set up a separate donation for charity thing

2018-10-22 11:51:54 UTC

Youtube can use this charity donation as tax reductions

2018-10-22 11:52:05 UTC

In fact you even have that option where all superchats you get instantly get donated to a charity instead

2018-10-22 11:52:10 UTC

but thats the creators choice

2018-10-22 11:52:15 UTC

Its iffy as fuck

2018-10-22 11:52:40 UTC

I bet its just gonna be some way for dems to launder money

2018-10-22 11:52:46 UTC

Well streamlabs exist

2018-10-22 11:52:50 UTC

Fortunately

2018-10-22 11:52:55 UTC

Cause YT can just put whatever charity

2018-10-22 11:53:24 UTC

Atually I just read about how YT can do it without the crator's choice

2018-10-22 11:55:25 UTC

they are getting so desperate to controll peoples toughts and narratives.
and sensor and deplatform people they dont like

2018-10-22 11:56:24 UTC

i get the feeling as if, google will pressure companies like Paypal and Visa to stop supporting platforms that hosts youtubers

2018-10-22 11:56:42 UTC

that hosts "the wrong" youtubers

2018-10-22 11:56:50 UTC

yeah

2018-10-22 11:56:56 UTC

We will see

2018-10-22 11:57:00 UTC

like if andy(warski) goes to streamlabs for chat donations,

2018-10-22 11:57:07 UTC

They would have to be breaking law

2018-10-22 11:57:13 UTC

To get to them imo

2018-10-22 11:57:59 UTC

it could be more complicated than that

like say there is a youtuber that criticize Saudi Arabia, he gets his donations from streamlabs, streamlabs handles donations through visa, Saudi Government could pressure Visa to ends it's ties with streamlabs cause it goes against there incentive to make money from saudi

2018-10-22 12:01:57 UTC

i am not a legal expert, and definitely want to be proved wrong

2018-10-22 12:02:20 UTC

hey question, anyone got more info on the migrant caravan? I have heard the possibility of escaped ISIS members in it but don't know if that's true or not.
