@Giggles how big is your nose, Mr. Goldstein?
GM and all car companies were forbidden from producing domestic vehicles during WW2. All factories were converted to military production.
So there is precedent for this sort of thing.
Why GM would get tapped for ventilators is beyond me though.
If you say your company is going to do something and you dont do it, then you should get punished.
@pwtdo they do all sorts of machinery
and this act is korean or vietnam era

Gotta love how Massie was trying to force people into the House Chambers solely to try to tank the bill.
Massie should be on the next Madlads.
Just a Daily reminder that we're #1

Daily reminder the best way to stop your numbers going up is to stop recording them
Per capita USA is less worse than most European countries
"less worse" its called better. jesus christ.
also 5 minutes dayum.
now these tests are still swabs in mouth and not blood testing right?
I mean that's if you're aggregating all of Europe together
Czech Republic is doing way better than the US, for example
US rate is .03% and Czechia is .02%. Congratulations.
There will be states in the US that will do better than the aggregate.
Most of the outbreak in the US seems to be concentrated in the NYC area
NY and NJ are reporting significantly greater numbers of cases per capita relative to other states
More cases is sort of a good thing as the deaths are not hard to detect. So if we have more cases and less fatalities it means our mortality rate is going down. What we need is serum antibody tests which would show mild cases and add them to the denominator.
>Czechia's rate is 1/3rd less than the US's
>*Ironic Congrats*
Yeah, wow, because having proportionately 33.33% fewer cases is so insignificant....
Probably is also related to no-one really caring enough about Czechia
lots of Chinese students in the US for example
?There's also lots in Czechia? <:WaitWhatArmy:590858815189024778>
So, Boeing is trying to strongarm the fed for even less strings on their gross bailout
"If there are too many strings attached to this money, we'll go somewhere else"
