I mean he's a professor in anti-microbial resistance, so Im guessing this is something he's not just assuming
there are already many people that got corona and are now immune, so its not like its not based on anything
Maybe the virus can't reach big enough numbers inside an immune host to pose a threat to others

yeah the gov is in an impossible place...
if the mortality with their plan is 5% ... theres no way of knowing what it could be if they either did something differently or did nothing at all
could have been a lot worse .. or a lot better... obviously the media will pick up on every little mention that it "would have been better if they did X"
and the gov will pick up all the death stats from the other countries that got it
