Not necessarily a good thing

2020-03-19 14:51:00 UTC

Better than Labour

2020-03-19 14:51:09 UTC

Yes, but so's aids

2020-03-19 14:51:13 UTC

And interest rates at their lowest level of all time

2020-03-19 14:51:21 UTC

Low interest rates are a bad thing

2020-03-19 14:51:39 UTC

Having a party so far ahead without competition isn't a good thing

2020-03-19 14:51:40 UTC

But we don't have to choose between AIDS and Tories

2020-03-19 14:51:47 UTC

Especially when the Tories aren't actually all that good

2020-03-19 14:52:01 UTC

I wasnt saying it was good, just reporting it

2020-03-19 14:52:08 UTC

Yes sir

2020-03-19 14:52:55 UTC

Blame Labour for the Tories being so popular

2020-03-19 14:53:07 UTC

turns out full communism isnt very popular

2020-03-19 14:53:18 UTC

wonder why 😉

2020-03-19 14:53:45 UTC

Imagine being that shit to lose votes so rapidly to the Tories

2020-03-19 14:55:14 UTC

Who arent that great either

2020-03-19 15:00:12 UTC

0.1% interest rates

2020-03-19 15:04:08 UTC

The fact that you guys think Labour was communist or even socialist based on their manifesto shows how good the hatchet job was from the media or will you deny it? When it comes to policies, Labour was offering at best centre left policies that were in line with EU countries, secondly the issue of Brexit was the main reason why voters went with Tories because when Labour offered a second referendum they were just 2% behind the tories. Unless you will argue against that. But the point remains, the medias coverage and misrepresentation of Labour and Corbyn was key and that's why the narrative of Labour and communism gets played out despite the obvious flaws in that logic.

"when Labour offered a second referendum they were just 2% behind the tories"

2020-03-19 15:05:43 UTC

what does this mean

2020-03-19 15:06:36 UTC

didnt corbyn also say that he was a marxist

2020-03-19 15:06:43 UTC

@system11 weirdly gbp is going up on the news instead of down :/

2020-03-19 15:06:48 UTC

What do you think marxism means

2020-03-19 15:06:56 UTC

agreeing with the ideas of marx

2020-03-19 15:07:03 UTC

the community of goods for example

2020-03-19 15:07:05 UTC

what are the ideas of marx

2020-03-19 15:07:27 UTC

property should be shared

2020-03-19 15:07:42 UTC

from those according to their ability to those according to their need

2020-03-19 15:07:49 UTC

i believe is the quote

2020-03-19 15:07:56 UTC

Nationalisation?

2020-03-19 15:08:04 UTC

its the relationship between labour and capital and an analysis of it

2020-03-19 15:08:11 UTC

I was a Labour voter, until they went soft on Brexit

2020-03-19 15:08:20 UTC

You would need nationalisation to stop private property

2020-03-19 15:08:24 UTC

Labour, like the Greens and the Lib Dems, have been taken over by identity politics obsessed interest groups/activists

2020-03-19 15:08:45 UTC

Labour ditched the working class vote

2020-03-19 15:08:45 UTC

I agree with renationalising some sectors, such as power, water and public transport

2020-03-19 15:08:54 UTC

And yes, the cultural marxist shit

2020-03-19 15:08:54 UTC

Eccles wrong as usual again

2020-03-19 15:09:04 UTC

Tories are bad enough with it

2020-03-19 15:09:18 UTC

Green party and lib dems embraced cultural marxism

2020-03-19 15:09:21 UTC

What does working class mean Eccles?
