Tbh all of these evidences are shit in their sample size, wish there would be much more.
```This study has several limitations. First, the data analysed in this study were from the
normal lung tissue of patients with lung adenocarcinoma, which may be different with the
lung tissue of healthy people.
. Second,
our analysis was based on the average expression from bulk tissue. This may lead to a
power loss in detecting the expression from particular cell types such as the AT2 cells in
which ACE2 are specifically highly expressed```
@UnScottable pls cite paper with link or the Zhuo et al. etc.
its the paper weve been discussing with those tables
Ah ok.
Thx.
👍
Been looking at other shit papers and see what they said but everything is so muddy and unclear so I would just point out that almost every one of this has such a small sample size.
yea.... turns out both our studies are shit
One less shit than the other.
In regards to sample size <:smugon:512048583806025739>
thats debatable
only to sample size <:smugon:512048583806025739>
samples size clearly isnt the biggest factor given that AT2 cells have the ACE2 receptor specifically highly expressed. so. <:smugon:512048583806025739>
Main issue the whole time for me was the sample size not if there is any differences, because I know that there are.
good ol science battle
but im afraid youve activated my trap card <:coolgon:549370575701803019>
? sample size not important when making racial analysis of large population expressions?
i didnt say it was unimportant
i said it wasnt the "biggest" factor
it is still an important factor. look i choose my words carefully ok <:coolgon:549370575701803019>
Though I have brought this stuff up before in another channel with Scale_E being one of them, and you are the first person to present another study and thats been fun. Nice to see someone bring something else to look at 😄
Depending on the probability of something occuring and the precision that you're looking for, the sample size is actually often the most important factor
2 other studies <:coolgon:549370575701803019> @UnScottable if you reread what I wrote you would understand that my issue is specifically about the sample size being smoll.
btw @UnScottable you might want to read this. https://doi.org/10.20944/preprints202002.0408.v1
