What's actually going on is this: the EU puts forth legislation, the parliament votes on it, and it's that parliament that actually has the power. But that parliament is created by the EU member nations and their individual voters, not by the EU.

So all the true power comes from the nations, not the EU. And the nations derive their power from their respective systems, which in the case of the EU countries are different forms of democracy.

So no, the EU has literally no power. The countries have all the power.

The only reason you can't logically see what i'm describing is because from the start you haven't been able to even think that the eu has a means of force. That is bias. If something goes bad in the EU, it's because the leadership of the member states agreed to it. So the blame is on the leadership of the individual nations.
