Eating is degrading matter into energy, it IS entropy. The idea that using entropy to preserve self somehow resists entropy is completely nonsensical. That isn't how it works at all.

I like to use a skyscraper as example as some people see such structures as a sort of negative entropy. What about the building materials? The mining operations? The trucks used to haul it all? That massve energy expenditure is all entropy, the tower standing before you is MADE BY ENTROPY and is us simply expressing degradation of the universe in an ordered way.

This is why I call life an entropic process, it literally is.

If something results because of causality then it happened because of entropy.

Your argument so far is essentially "working for entropy is resisting it because you keep living, even if living dissipates heat, energy and deconstructs matter. Even if everything we can possibly do is an entropic function, staying alive is resistance"
