A 25 year old has a .02% to die of flu and a .2% to die of this

2020-03-12 11:06:09 UTC

The first person to die in Belgium was 90. That'd piss me off, imagine living well over the average and then getting fragged by something made in China

@Xaverius Lets face it we all died in 2012 and this just a hell we created. Like the immaterium from 40K

2020-03-12 11:06:52 UTC

And how many 25 year olds have you met who have died of the flu, my dear.

2020-03-12 11:06:53 UTC

2012?

2020-03-12 11:06:54 UTC

You normies and your normalcy bias

2020-03-12 11:06:56 UTC

Whatever

2020-03-12 11:07:02 UTC

It's your Darwin award

2020-03-12 11:07:11 UTC

Normalcy bias <:thunk:462282216467333140>

2020-03-12 11:07:19 UTC

We will normalcy bias our way through the plague if you dare us.

2020-03-12 11:07:30 UTC

corona virus is serious

2020-03-12 11:07:34 UTC

I work in Care so I'm resigned to getting it unfortunately

2020-03-12 11:07:36 UTC

@Xaverius Yes, it's when people cling ti normality as everything collapses around them

2020-03-12 11:07:39 UTC

don't panic but don't be complacent

2020-03-12 11:07:49 UTC

^^^

2020-03-12 11:07:49 UTC

for real though people are projecting chinese death rates on first world nations, china had a massive blunder because they chose to ignore and cover it up while it spread. now that its out and even the slightest sign of it causes a lockdown then its definitely going to be contained. plus first world medicine helps a lot compared to just straight up not going to the hospital or having sub par medicine

I suggest as High Inquisitor that we exterminaus china

2020-03-12 11:07:56 UTC

You can get me to care about it when I'm in my deathbed

2020-03-12 11:07:57 UTC

But I'm not particularly worried, I'm young healthy, don't smoke, good lungs etc.

2020-03-12 11:08:01 UTC

@Ayylmao Not even

2020-03-12 11:08:09 UTC

@phadreus So basically a natural response to things that you can't influence. Got it

2020-03-12 11:08:15 UTC

@Ayylmao I ask you to look at Italy for a moment then

2020-03-12 11:08:18 UTC

@E'Loomis Zaurora You're missing the point entirely

2020-03-12 11:08:30 UTC

Do you really think that nigger-infested europe can cope with this&

2020-03-12 11:08:38 UTC

<:hyperthink:462282519883284480>

2020-03-12 11:08:42 UTC

the rates in china are likely much higher only a retard would believe the numbers coming from there

2020-03-12 11:08:44 UTC

If this becomes endemic and kills a million people a year what does that mean for society? @E'Loomis Zaurora

@Ayylmao Then you realise that a lot of 1st world drugs are made in China

2020-03-12 11:09:03 UTC

@Xaverius It's called denial

2020-03-12 11:09:06 UTC

each pill contains one chinaman trying to smuggle himself from wuhan

2020-03-12 11:09:06 UTC

Complacency

2020-03-12 11:09:10 UTC

Stupidity

2020-03-12 11:09:11 UTC

Then you realise that 95% of US anti-biotics are produced in china

2020-03-12 11:09:14 UTC

@phadreus no I get your point I just think it's unnecessarily panic driven. It will probably become endemic. A vaccine will come out in 18 months and it will fill antivaxers.

2020-03-12 11:09:22 UTC

An inability to be realistic and adapt @Xaverius

2020-03-12 11:09:26 UTC

Its a made in china virus its gonna break quiet quickly <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>

> If this becomes endemic and kills a million people a year what does that mean for society? @E'Loomis Zaurora
@phadreus
It means that this virus was more effective than even the Germans?

2020-03-12 11:09:55 UTC

@E'Loomis Zaurora I'm not saying to panic

2020-03-12 11:10:00 UTC

I'm saying to be prepared
