And most companies are picking the left side, in part because the optics are better with the left.
It's all about optics for companies.

The left pretends to be good and they are pieces of sh*t, while a lot of the center/right, generally, tells you they don't care about your feelings, but they will be fair.

Actually, I think long term they would be better off not caring.

But it's easier to go with the tide.
If one of them go counter narrative, they'd be jumped by all the other companies, like Gab.
Then, when the dam really breaks, if it should ever break, they will suddenly pretend like they've been with the cause all along.
