If you are a member of a group that catches left hate, I understand that Dusty

2018-10-29 04:19:44 UTC

They're akin to "political refugees"

2018-10-29 04:19:51 UTC

I'm the lucky recipient of right hate

2018-10-29 04:19:52 UTC

No one is pushing the center. They are only pushing members of their own parties

2018-10-29 04:19:53 UTC

Or ideological refugees I suppose

2018-10-29 04:20:06 UTC

The right hate me too, but I rather support them instead of the left.

2018-10-29 04:20:10 UTC

The right hate atheists.

2018-10-29 04:20:15 UTC

>.>

2018-10-29 04:20:16 UTC

As a centrist I can tell you I dont care what either political party says about me

2018-10-29 04:20:18 UTC
2018-10-29 04:20:26 UTC

"the right"

2018-10-29 04:20:30 UTC

The right are overwhelmingly religious, they have a aversion to Atheists.

2018-10-29 04:20:40 UTC

They tend to associate Atheists with the left.

2018-10-29 04:20:45 UTC

When I am actually center-right.

2018-10-29 04:20:47 UTC

Just as how most "right" people dont hate atheists, most "left" people support free speech

2018-10-29 04:20:59 UTC

There's a difference to "aversion to atheists" and "aversion to faggots who act self important because they are atheist"

2018-10-29 04:21:02 UTC

I am talking about those that speak the loudest.

2018-10-29 04:21:16 UTC

Both are common rallying points used by the opposing side, but its not the case for more than 25% of each side

2018-10-29 04:21:24 UTC

This thread... https://redd.it/9s7dwl

2018-10-29 04:21:32 UTC

. @Blackhawk342 I don't actually believe most of the left does support free speech

2018-10-29 04:21:53 UTC

If you lean right, you are considered a "Nazi" by the extreme left. It's as simple as that. The problem is these extremists have taken over the Democratic Party, or maybe the Democratic Party is scared of them and not willing to disavow. So, for me, a 'centrist' the left is not an option whatsoever as well, I'm a "Nazi". I can't vote anywhere near that.

2018-10-29 04:21:54 UTC

I'm not entirely sure the right does either

2018-10-29 04:22:03 UTC

Thankfully I think the right is becoming more acceptive of Atheists.

2018-10-29 04:22:09 UTC

I was off the charts conservative apparently

2018-10-29 04:22:27 UTC

@Dusty Morganwhich goes back to my point about ideological refugees

2018-10-29 04:22:35 UTC

Again, not saying that they're viable options

2018-10-29 04:22:49 UTC

Just saying that most supporters dont feel the same way as the loudest voices

2018-10-29 04:22:58 UTC

right doesnt hate ahteist per say.
but everone hates militant atheist.

2018-10-29 04:23:03 UTC

My opinions simply boil down to this. Which side overwhelmingly for the constitution.

2018-10-29 04:23:07 UTC

For me... it is the right.

2018-10-29 04:23:21 UTC

Which side allows for individuality... that is the right.

2018-10-29 04:23:31 UTC

I so love national review

2018-10-29 04:23:50 UTC

@oprahsminge I'd say they do... they're just not aware of the larger conversation that is trying to be made

2018-10-29 04:23:51 UTC

Thus... I rather be closer to the ring wing politics than the left wing politics.

2018-10-29 04:24:14 UTC

I don't want my freedoms and rights to be striped away for some socialist utopia that will probably never exist.

2018-10-29 04:24:30 UTC

It can't exist... humans are too different.

2018-10-29 04:24:32 UTC

@Hops again. Let's go back 20-30 years and you'll remember the Evangelical wing of the party

2018-10-29 04:24:40 UTC

And how it became ridiculously powerful

2018-10-29 04:24:41 UTC

Same Dusty

2018-10-29 04:24:51 UTC

They weren't terribly "pro free speech"
