For example, the coverage in Shenzhen is really good and even more modern than in some parts of America.
In America, because they are often first adopters, it can also happen that some infrastructure takes longer to update.
developing countries usually get better stuff
when they actually develop it ;^)
lol
Appairently my personality type is ENTJ
yeah, it's cheaper to start over than to redo
whcih is extremely rae among my age group
It's a bit like the effect of being second adopter. You get to skip the early hurdles.
I remember SerpentZA having made a very good video about this. For those who don't know him, he is one of the first and longest standing English speaking YouTubers in China, originally from South Africa, a bit of a refugee.
I'll look him up. Thanks 😃
Okay.
Stay awesome.
I think most of the people who watch tim are people who used to be leftists
and have been kicked out when the left turned super cult mode
so we like hearing the perspective of someone who's gone through the same
Tim claims to still be on the left.
tim is losing faith :v
By sane standards, he still is, and so are most of us.
I don't believe Tim is on the left
in every video i feed on his suffering
Constantly
But, I don't like the left/right dichotomy very much anyway. I think most people would be hard pressed to define who would be center and what is left or right.
he just want sane left that cares about the poor
not 1/1024 indians :3
he's losing faith as am I
In particular, considering the origin of those terms, it referred to the general alignment during the French Revolution, in terms of who was on the side of monarchy and who was not.
the labels are useless
atheists conservatives 👌🏿
I think a better distinction nowadays is a dichotomy between moralizing busy body and libertarian.
Or even libertarian and authoritarian.
I was wondering if conservatives are just liberals from past generations
holding onto whatever ideals were liberal at the time
Strictly speaking, it would make more sense to place the authoritarians on the right wing (with the monarchs of olden days and centralization of power) and us on the left, which would also align the term with liberal, in the way it was used in Britain and in its original meaning.
they didn't get on the 72 genders hype train and got ditched ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
banding together with other people trying to conserve some sense of sanity
Strictly speaking, we are the liberals, we are on the left - as are libertarians - and Antifa are on the right.
the 72 genders hype train was where I jumped ship
antifa more like fa
I think, one of the first steps of bringing sanity back to politics would be to stop misusing these terms, because they let people claim ownership of bodies of thought that they have no claim to.
there's no talking to these people
