What's China's status and why isn't it there?

My wife came back early from work this morning. Her whole company has shut down b/c of CV19

not just "downsizing" or "letting some ppl go while we make re-adjustments." **The whole damn thing went tits-up.**

She said some ppl were crying in the hallway as they left, some were swiping staplers & potted plants on their way out

Wait, you mean the company doesn't exist anymore or do you mean that they're closed till this blows over and you don't get paid?

The letter she showed me said the closing is **permanent.**

At least for us, we can maintain our lifestyle on my income alone. Other ppl aren't so fortunate. 😕

And the bizarre thing is, the company seemed to be doing really well, at least for the time she'd been w/ them. Several times she's had to put in mandatory overtime b/c of the high amount of orders that came in

what are we guys talking about

from "power through it" to "hey, stay home if you're sick at all"
