And I'd say that's due in part to the nature of the world currently. Too much instant gratification leads to that desire elsewhere in life, even when logic and rational should be your go to.

Being selfish isn't a bad thing. And good things can result from it and bad things can result from it

Its the act itself that i'm talking about. The "i'm doing this without consideration for anyone but myself"
