The dense grid of feedback sensors in this hypothetical suit remap depending on your character. Although nothing changes IRL, the sensors are expanded and or contracted on a grid pattern in order to allow for this to sorta work. Obviously, as they expand you become less sensitive as each sensor is now virtually spaced further away, but with a dense enough grid things might just work.

Its just a massive 40K Basillica and all comers are fressed as clergymen and citizens

You should look into a company called Looxid, they're working on adaptable brain interfacing for modern VR headsets.
