I'd disagree with that statement, while they are organised, I feel like it's not disorganisation that gets the opposition pushed back. I'd say it's a perfect response as what those Dev's were threatening to do. Most large institutions are forced into using and implementing ridiculous standards and CoC's because of them. An organised, strong push back like this one in particular, despite any backlash holds all the power. That's exactly what kind of retaliation is required for the PC climate of this day and age.
