yes, you are responsible for your actions but no man is an island
For example people who are given responsibility
Interaction is also a skill you keep improving
that isn't maturity though
best example is the continum
I tried being an island.
.
I thought i was schizophrenic after about a year
What's your definition then?
dependance, independance, interdependance
I'm still trying to be an island
it's a spectrum. you start out dependance and then become independant on all facets, emotional, financial etc
Will tell you how it works out
Still question my sanity >.>
and until you can be totally independant, you aren't ready to be interdependant
You can never go fully independent, you still owe people favours back, friendships and not the least of all taxes and civil duties
if you do this too soon, it beocmes CO-dependance
@WeThePeopleAreFucked Only when I wake up and it takes me 5 minutes to figure what actually happened in the real world vs dreams
I hope it works out for you Sam.
.
I'm weak willed and need a woman for comfort however lol
that's not what indepencance is
You can manage your dependencies in the best course though
that's what feminazis think it is
independence is when you can CHOOSE to stay or go at will
I smoke too much weed to dream most days
> You can never go fully independent, you still owe people favours back, friendships and not the least of all taxes and civil duties
Despise the free lunch
you don't need one bad friend, you have others
Im a mess. Don't take life advice from me
you have a choice and you realize it's a negotiation of cost and benefit
Financially independent, with a skillset that does not limit you to being one-job-pony, independent in relationships etc.
interdependance is when you choose to allow another to occupy a symbiotic role with you
All those dependencies and independencies come with an asterisk when you inspect them closer
everything does
but you are taking it too hyperlitteral
independance means you have options
You can be dependant on yourself for what you'd normally be dependant on others and I don't think that's independence either
No I am looking at nuances
and you understand the trade-offs you are making
you don't have any one single point of failure
independence is lack of dependence. I.e. that is not your last option with no choices left
It is why you should always have plans B and C to fall back on
Life is as much independent as you think it through in advance
if you reach a point you are thinking that way, you've acheived that level of maturity
