utopian philosophies are terrible. much better to believe in a world that will be perpetually flawed.

sacrificing those millions for a utopia that cannot be achieved is the ultimate form of evil though

a thousand years from now there will be murder, rape, racism, hate, theft, etc. because so long as there are people there will be inequity and evil.

i know i'm being hyperbolic, but the principle is the same. if the goal is utopia, you can justify any crime to reach it. right now we're seeing democrats justifying blatant election fraud.

yesterday we had a vox editor justifying attacking a journalist's home.
