Just found something interesting.
There were cases of fires leaping across as much as 8 lane highways.
Also, an incline uphill can INCREASE the speed of a fire, instead of slowing it down.
It has to do with air pressure.
hmm
yeah, I think it's usually not the flamefront or even the radiated heat alone that does that though
Can't finde the place in the Interview right now.
I think generally it's dry conditions and lack of care which allow these spreads
...wich is what foresters are for, usually
"Homeowners are required to maintain firebreaks of at least 100 feet if they live along the perimeter of open space
The 1963 Senate Bill 643 requires a "defensible space" and applies to anyone that has a "...building or structure in or adjoining a mountainous area or forest covered lands, grass covered lands or any land which is covered by flammable material."
In 1992 fines and penalties were established.
State Public Resources Code requires that property owners:
β’ remove any portion of a tree extending within 10 feet of chimney outlets;
β’ remove deadwood on trees adjacent to or overhanging structures;
β’ remove leaves or other dead material from roofs;
β’ provide screens on chimney outlets."
they fell dead trees and do something against the Fire
i.e. nobody going around snuffing out the small points of spread on the far side of your eight-lane motorway before they spread
https://youtu.be/JNHUkjwt7e0?t=144 << this bit is interesting, this guy talks about basically defending his and his neighbours' houses with garden hoses.
@Dr.Wol its kind of funny how you can see how christianity is changed and turned against people.
and how that own ideology is being slowly subverted and now we have brain washed SJWs trying to exploit feelings and good intentions against them selfs.
and still choose to stay complelty ignorant who is behind that marxist ideology.
yes its lot of white people against them selfs, because that ideology is like plague and desing to exploit good will of white people.
"Fire agencies canβt afford to maintain breaks like that all the time, so they build them as needed β if thereβs enough time. In 1994 I watched from my fire lookout on Dixie Mountain, as flames a quarter-mile tall threatened Loyalton, California. Four days in a row, the fire reburned the same forest during the heat of each day."
I guess we'll find out how effective he has been when we read the obituaries.
>reburned the same forest
holy fuck
California is basically a firepit.
"Yes. Every summer, the fire department and our watershed company mows perimeter wild grass around my neighborhood. The fire department will also go to homes to assess if their landscaping is a fire danger. The fire department does controlled burns to create a black charred strip of what was once wild grass to serve as a fire break. As a neighborhood, we remove overgrown vegetation in common spaces and are alert to our own and others' trees touching our houses so that flames don't jump. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area on the peninsula."
its not burning enough
Can forest fire melt steel beams?
yes
Can it melt dank memes?
probably not
@Jasse Thats because i don't ignore reality,
Everything you explain can be explained without "The jews" planning it all,
If the Jews were so brilliant they'd be smart enough to actually have the nation on top as theirs, not one surviving simply cuz of the protection from the west,
In addition IF they were that smart, they'd be smart enough to also run this "shadow government" in a way that people would be happy and want them to be in charge, as opposed to having people complain how shitty everything is.
Your world view literally contradicts itself, thats why i refused to believe it, it just doesn't add up
Jews aren't "better" than the rest of the world, the common people everywhere are still retards
I would really like the 'net in general to hash out this Jew theory.
Honestly, it's such a mess, we need a proper common taxonomy of these insidious JQ memes.
I have never really gotten anywhere on it. I've learned some interesting things here and there - but never really come to a resolution.
some sort of knowledge graph of expert system maybe
why not just file them under "fake news" xorgy?
I think it's that it's a world view dominated by wishful thinking
A desire to believe that somebody, surely somebody, is in control
I won't just brush it aside as "insidious". If it's wrong, we should be able to show it's wrong. If not, it's not insidious.
which is more manageable for the simple-minded than knowing that nobody is in control
well those views tend to come from people who are scared that reality is not being controlled
and that we're metaphorically, in an airplane thats crashing down, and theres no pilot on board
the simple solution is to become the pilot!
and everyone just wants a go at cuz the think THEY can save it
