India is third world, yes

2018-11-10 18:29:52 UTC

Probably a small city’s

2018-11-10 18:30:18 UTC

Like would you call Rhodesia a 1st world or a 3rd world?

2018-11-10 18:30:19 UTC

By that classification, China is third world. Don't believe anyone would call them that though

2018-11-10 18:30:19 UTC

extremely rich, extremely clean and organized. Safer overall except for ford and his strike breakers @Vesdii

2018-11-10 18:30:36 UTC

Wow, can't imagine.

2018-11-10 18:30:37 UTC

Nah nah China is a 2nd world because of communism influencing them

2018-11-10 18:30:47 UTC

Sure a lot of countries would have ditched communism

2018-11-10 18:30:47 UTC

You go to Vancouver downtown and a 1 bed condo is $1.5 million, the place is filled with rich Chinese and the ppl that are homeless in the streets are heroin addicted between 20-30 young white males

2018-11-10 18:30:55 UTC

And they would be 1st imo

2018-11-10 18:30:59 UTC

`China`
`communism`
Pick one

2018-11-10 18:31:06 UTC

Hmm

2018-11-10 18:31:14 UTC

I’ll have the chicken please

2018-11-10 18:31:30 UTC

It's really sad, we're throwing away our own values

2018-11-10 18:31:38 UTC

For money and power

2018-11-10 18:31:53 UTC

All third world means is they rejected aligning with either the US or the Soviets

2018-11-10 18:32:05 UTC

@Vesdii that massive wealth attracted socialists, who then wanted to redistribute the wealth, and that brought their beloved victim class people to live on those handouts, which caused those with wealth to leave, which then set a cycle of self destruction

2018-11-10 18:32:25 UTC

Ah so countries not directly aligned would still be considered first if they had similar ideals?

2018-11-10 18:32:48 UTC

It is outdated as there's no longer a true Soviet state, well except for North Korea and Venezuela.

2018-11-10 18:33:19 UTC

Align with the US means first world. Soviets second. Non aligned third.

2018-11-10 18:33:59 UTC

And even then, by this classification the PRC left second world shortly after 1955

2018-11-10 18:34:10 UTC

Exactly

2018-11-10 18:34:25 UTC

They and India were the backbone of third world

2018-11-10 18:34:48 UTC

Yet for some reason few will call China third world these days :^)

2018-11-10 18:35:11 UTC

Because the whole classification is outdated.

2018-11-10 18:35:12 UTC

Does anyone remember back in the late 90's the Brazil Superpower predictions?

2018-11-10 18:35:18 UTC

Lol

2018-11-10 18:35:51 UTC

I made a lot of money on that bubble

2018-11-10 18:35:58 UTC

Really? I thought Brazil always had a huge problem with poverty and crime

2018-11-10 18:35:59 UTC

Lel

2018-11-10 18:36:17 UTC

I ditched my brazil ETF close to the market high.

2018-11-10 18:37:16 UTC

March for our lives had a song by Hamilton and dear Evan Hansen. Both are about being left behind, but I wouldn’t say their march was. However, I think dear Evan Hansen is about how we need to be open to other people, but Evan Hansen used someone else’s death to influence his popularity.

2018-11-10 18:37:31 UTC

In the late 90's Brazil was instituting economic reforms and for a while it looked like it's economy was going to sky rocket and over take the PRC's. Then "Lulu" got elected and the rocket economy exploded on luanch.

2018-11-10 18:37:37 UTC

Most Americans muddle Baltic and Balkan. Presidents should know better, though.

2018-11-10 18:38:14 UTC

Anyway dear Evan Hansen would probably be more closely related to how we shouldn’t ostracize people to become school shooters because bullying can cause individuals to actually commit acts

2018-11-10 18:39:08 UTC

Eh whatever I don’t want to analyze it without a real reason to right now

2018-11-10 18:44:49 UTC

Yeah, not surprising about Trump...

2018-11-10 18:45:13 UTC

Presidents are human not Encyclopedia Britannica

"If someone tells me that I've hurt their feelings, I say, 'I'm still waiting to hear what your point is.' In this country I've been told, 'That's offensive,' as if those two words constitute an argument or a comment. Not to me they don't."
