But that was forced and people lost their lives.
We are still dealing with the scars from that time.
it would always have been forced
A lot of our political backgrounds probably lionized MLK and didn't give a lot of praise to Malcom X.
For generations.
We like to convince people, not force them.
Abolishing it would always have been forced.
Minimizing it would not have.
youd never have convinced the south to drop jc laws with anything short of a black majority
Convince the people through hearts and minds first in my opinion.
I don't want some fringe anti-LGBT group to spring up like the KKK and kill off LGBT people.
Besides it would have set a dangerous precedent given the time it was in
I don't want that.
I think that's unlikely ever to happen
I think we should take it slow, do it right.
"We know states are subservient to the federal government but you can still ignore the constitution as you see fit"
Let it the support for LGBT to naturally grow. Acceptance to be one of the key factors.
@Dusty Morgan you don't have to have them pop up when you mass import people are are religously against it and you have the leader of the feminist movement (linda sarsour) pushing for the impementation of sharia law
Now Linda Sarsour is calling for a dark age law that would basically infringe upon other's rights.
Why the fuck would I accept that?
It is growing to the point where its the majority. If trump can be pro LGBT and get a standing ovation from the GOP im pretty sure they have majority support
Feminist movement has succeed in many aspects already. They are not making non-issues into campaign issues.
Most of the feminist leaders of today are vying for power instead of equal rights.
look at the terf movement in feminism for example
Then we need to make an campaign to help foster goodwill towards the LGBT.
Not force it onto others, but to have LGBT community going around and helping those in need.
To show that they are good people, who only want to be able to marry.
Change hearts and minds.
Offer help to those suffering. Rather they accept it or not is up to them. Be on standby to change the minds and hearts of the people.
Show that the LGBT community is a fellow American who cares for others.
I don't think it's an issue at this point. There's no need for a "hearts and minds" campaign. The decision was made. I don't see many people angry and making areal effort to reverse the Supreme Court ruling.
people who are trans want those that won't date them arrested for hate crimes (non operation), women want to exclude trans people and what faction isn't based on that is based on either identity through skin color or pushing for sharia
We're simply biding our time.
Basically earn it. Republicans are big on personal responsibility. Show that you have personal responsibility and you will not be burden on them.
Show that you will stand beside your fellow American.
Don't put yourself ahead of everyone.
See my thing in life if they don't bother me then give it to them
Basically over-time, people will have a good impression from the LGBT and would be more open to them legalizing gay marriage.
what if the gays accidentally their entire race
